前幾天去看現在在 off b'way 的 rent 眼尖的朋友注意到了一個我以前沒有想過的事: 《La Vie Boheme》中除了各主角以外還有一些龍套我以前覺得那些只是用來壯勢但是如果想太多的話, 這個人數是有意義的雖然不同的製作龍套角色人數不一樣但是現在這個製作, 導演似乎想要傳達一個特殊的意象一開始他向一幅著名的文藝復興繪畫致敬 (防劇透請開燈創世紀: http://goo.gl/0edwp ) 之後將桌子排成一長條以後, 數了數人頭: 剛好 13 個。這不是最後的晚餐嗎再用我淺薄的知識, Benny 對應著背叛者猶大 Angel 教會人去愛人, 在《contact》中如同被釘上十字架般的在火中熱舞而死帶有神性的名字對應耶穌剛好不過其他的們徒有沒有對應的角色我就不知道了 * 剛剛又有強者我同學找到其他人也持有相同看法 https://sites.google.com/site/religioninrent/outline Religious Symbolism in RENT In his article RENT: Reinterpreting The Gospel of Mark At the Close of the Millennium[1], Scranton describes how the Life Café (La Vie Boheme) scene may symbolize the Last Supper. He also relates the death of Angel (a major character) to the death and resurrection of Christ. In this section I will explore this idea further.
