A number of tickets for this summer's Glastonbury Festival have gone on-sale,
it has been announced.
Organisers have introduced a new scheme for the 2009 event, with punters
getting the opportunity to put down a deposit.
With that initiative now closed, a limited amount of full-price tickets today
went on-sale, although only to people who are already registered.
According to reports, there will be one more allocation made available to
the public, on April 5.
As previously reported, Blur, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen are amongst
the acts expected to headline Glastonbury 2009, which takes place in June.
