LIVE ON AIR!! TONIGHT!!! _______________________________________________________________________ Hi All (from our SMH HQ)!! Yep, that’s right!!! A new TV channel is finally launching it in Taiwan (and focus for local audience but program curates by programmers all around the world– inside or outside of Taiwan - send it to our HQ in Taipei), due to lack of support not only from mainstreaming media (but pretty much ALL forms of media) – on the music we like (those indie friendly type). This is been in our mind for years, set the idea of this about 5 years ago. Once when some of us were booking acts for a huge festival. It’s about time to set up a community base TV channel; we just didn’t know it was about 6 years since we got this idea for the very first time. Thx to the new technology, we could finally make a move but without spending too much cost. We always got this ultimate question in our mind – when will kids in my country could finally get the same. Its about freedom, liberate and knowing about something new. You don’t have to like it most of the time, however its still always there. LAUNCHING IT TONIGHT & FIRST VIDEO OF HONOR IS... ___________________________________________________________________________ Yep, once again! Yes, we are launching our music channel tonight! From our HQ in Melbourne & also our HQ in Taipei. We are please announcing the launch of SMH Channel tonight (drum roll~~~~~). There is nothing better to launch the TV station with one of your all time favorite favorite music video - (drum roll~~~~~ drum roll~~~~~ once again). Who exactly had the honor? Who~~~who~~~ Yep…… “The Rollins Band” did have the honor!! We will pick their Liar to launch our music station, its not because we lie all the time….but this is a such such classic music video with Academy Award acting from the great Rollins that everybody MUST see. Don’t know who they are? Just check it out then you will know. SOMETHING THAT YOU MAY NEVER KNOW ___________________________________________________________________________ Hope you will like the program that we selected for you. I do believe some of the stuffs kids in Taiwan rarely have a chance to watch it before. That’s why we are so proud of it and want to share. This could be kind of Taiwan primer (drum roll~~~~~ drum roll~~~~~ once again) even its on the internet …..Orz…. RESPECT THE GREAT ___________________________________________________________________________ Such classic fucking band like TISM !!!! – bring you their fucking classic!! Whatareya!!! Also great band that everyone love that go back to the 60’s such as The Love Ones – the guy was Robert Plant even WAY WAY before Robert Plant was Robert Plant!!!! Also some bands that people don’t know but made a huge impact such as The Only Ones, Punk god father such as The Dictators – the guy who made Manitoba changed his name to Caribou….ha…ha…. (but we still love the band, no matter what)!! Also finally the fucking Hard Ons!!!!!!!!!!! Blackie!! Blackie!!! Also Ray!!! GET THE TRIAL VIBE ___________________________________________________________________________ Due to this is our very first episode, so we will just want kids to get what the vibe will be on this channel. Something you do know or don not knows, but we love it all. This is just basically showing you the vibe in a very wide virility. From the 50’s to now for all gears. Our programmer in our HQ been there and done that, not unless they are dead ages ago or not touring anymore….we pretty much saw them all (live) even hang out with some of them in the past!!! KICK OUT THE JAM ___________________________________________________________________________ After this first special episode for the launch for the entire classic and letting you know the vibe…… we will back to our weekly program. The format is still very simple, for the usual program we will always start with new release music videos or some of the news one. Then finally go to some of the classics and kick ass live footages and specials. Our programmers world wide are also working hard for some acts' exclusive interviews for Taiwan (and special made for Taiwan or generally Chinese speaking region). Plus sometime special carefully select music relate movies or documentaries or interviews. ENOUGH FOR A WEEK FOR SURE ___________________________________________________________________________ We will promise will give you enough content for you to kick off the week and the whole week with smile in your face (even not all, but most of you). You don’t have to watch all of it, you can even just listening it as background should consider may be cool enough. We will not only follow the trend but also remind you some of the stuffs that you shouldn’t forget or never even have a chance to see it before. Also sadly it was Mick Harvey’s very last gig with the Bad Seeds. Also after saw the kick ass Primitive Calculators from no other than the life time changing classic move “Dogs in Space”. Sadly originally the whole film was available on the youtube (there is not way that you guys can get that in Taiwan). Now we decided to do a small Melbourne special base on no other than the great Bad Seeds & the movie itself. We picked up what we can find for you from a few scenes of the film.
