Rowland S. Howard R.I.P
True icon of the late 70’s post-punk period had passing
away today. Rowland S. Howard – the former guitarist of
the legendary the Birthday Party, Boys Next Door, who is
also great solo artist as well.
He loses battle with liver cancer, its sad to hear
especially only after a few days of the other great one
left us - Vic Chesnutt.
Another great one didn’t make it to Taiwan after all.
Rowland ONLY played in Asia once, which was this year’s
Fuji Rock festival in Japan. Almost arranging him to play
in Taiwan for Music Terminals, however it didn’t happen.
You will be missing greatly……….. such such an icon.
