Then at the dawn of the eighties he formed the band and released ten albums in ten years on the Cherry Red and Creation labels. As well as writing the most beautiful songs Felt looked beautiful too. For ten consecutive years they had it all - and here's the proof - take a peek beneath the nimbus covers. 勞倫思 二〇ㄧㄧ felt The disgusting distaste of everyday existence could break the spell if one concerned oneself with such ugly issues. To remain true to one's aims and pure and untainted - divorced from reality - to be able to deliver a pristine vision of uplifting beauty. To remain unburdened by the crushing defeatism of drudgery and endless toil. To exist within a decade and be part or it yet know nothing of its internal mechanics and daily politics. To seek out only beauty and attempt to embrace it… A portentous snap - so prescient. The prize has been swiped and he stands alone - miserable. "I was born in my mother's bed in a downstairs room - 12 Melville Road in Birmingham". My sister was a year older and she was the boos. I was her servant and slave. Anything I had she snatched away and it became hers. Or if she didn't want it she broke it. I had a beautiful Hamlet doll and she threw it on the fire and laughed as it burned. I still miss that Hamlet doll.
