Line-up for main stages confirmed
After literally days of speculation, the line-up for the main stage of the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals was announced officially last night
The line-up for this year's clumsily-named Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals was announced officially last night.
Following widespread (and surprisingly accurate) speculation in the preceding days, there were few surprises in the announcement. Highlights include rock legends Guns 'n' Roses, who make their first UK appearance in years (at Leeds only), a return to action for Jane's Addiction, the only chance to see the Strokes outside of the United States, Muse's only UK appearance of the year, and a frst gig in four years by Prodigy.
