防雷頁~~ 本集重點: 人都是會變的~~ 片頭, 一名黑人男子跟他的律師交談著, 他把一把槍放在律師的桌上律師: What exactly you expect me to do this? You went to my office without announcement, and put a murder weapon on my $10,000 coffee table? I'm your lawyer, not an accompaniant! What you could do is taking that thing away from here. Now. 忽然, 律師的保鑣把兩人趕進security room之中! 保鑣: Stay quiet in until I tell you out. 兩人躲在security room之中, 先是聽到了槍聲, 然後看著一群黑衣人走進律師43樓的房間之中, 開始打開保險櫃搬珠寶... 黑人: (看著那把滾到地板上的槍) I'm going for it. You with me? 律師: Hell, no. 但是黑人還是衝出去了, 拿了槍對強盜們射擊, 強盜們還擊, 黑人中彈倒地身亡, 強盜們走上頂樓搭乘直昇機逃走~~ 警方來到現場, 弗帥跟包子大報告情形. 律師先生是惡名鼎鼎的Roland Carson, 他死去的客戶是有名的藥頭Melvin, 中彈的保鑣先生James Belson是警察出身的, 還曾經是丹尼的同事~~ 弗帥: Apparantly he's working for the other side now. He said he put Carson and his clients into the security room. 包子大: It's not so safe after all. 蒙大拿到現場拍照蒐證~~ 弗帥: The body guard Belson got out of surgery. 蒙大拿: Look at this... 弗帥: Sand? 包子大與Carson交談中... Carson: The most important thing is to find those gems! They belong to my customer and if I cannot get them back, I'm in big trouble! 包子大: You mean other than find who killing Melvin? Carson: Melvin is meeting me with for some... business. And I promise it is nothing to do with what happened. I see how you guys eyeing me... But I believe there is no hurt feelings. If I don't get the persition, you might be investigating my homicide then! 蒙大拿跟Jo在研究搶匪是如何讓自己的臉在監視器上不顯像的, 結果是藏在衣領裡的LED燈....... 蒙大拿: (示範中) I'm walking, I'm walking, I'm sneaking, and now I'm escaping... 丹尼去探望老同事並且紀錄案情... 丹尼: Geez. You look terrible. James: Hey, Messer. (看著小護士笑笑的離開) You should get her number. 丹尼: No way, I'm married now. I even have a kid! James: Seriously? My ex-wife just kept my kids away from me... 丹尼: Mind to tell me what happened? James: Well, I heard some noise outside. I get Carson and the client in the secure, then... then next thing I know is being shut... 丹尼: Do you know wht Melvin come to Carson tonight? James: No. Even if I knew, I can't tell you, Danny. Carson will react like this. (用手比) Speaking about those securities, now that you're a family guy, do you want one? Maybe I can get something for you. 丹尼: (笑) No, thanks. All right, you take good rest. (往外走) James: Hey Danny, it's good seeing you, buddy. 丹尼回到局裡, 跟弗帥談起那位前同事... 弗帥: So you visited the guy who goes over to the dark side? 丹尼: Oh, Jimmy is not like that. He used to be called as "Mr. Personality." Everyone loves him. 弗帥: So what happened? 丹尼: It was all bed luck... On night, we got a felony caught up. 丹尼跟James逮捕了那些非法持有槍枝的幫派份子並把他們帶回局裡, 下車時丹尼說聽到有東西掉到警車地板上的聲音, James讓丹尼把人押近局裡, 然後自己回頭搜查警車, 但是並沒有注意到那把滑到前座底下的槍枝... 之後, 有另外兩名警員用那台車押解犯人...... 丹尼: And those cops who take the radio car in have no idea what they got... One of them stayed in the hospital for a month. 弗帥: They filed him for that? 丹尼: No. He's riding a desk after taht. But you can tell that everyone is treating him differently. No one trusts him anymore... If Jimmy just treat those guys a little bit differently, his whole life is different now. 弗帥: (點頭, 電話響起接電話)　We got the helicopter. 弗帥, 丹尼跟霍克葛格來到現場, 其中一名搶匪死在被棄置的直昇機裡. 霍克葛格: ... the LED is still in his collar. 弗帥: Okay, we got one who cannot make it to the end here, but there are other two people... Where did they go? 丹尼: I say following the money. 霍克葛格檢查屍體旁邊的跡證, 在死者的背包背帶上發現米粒大小的東西... 回局裡檢驗後, 發現原來是微晶片~~ 包子大: There're two bags. Two chips then? 　　　　But Carson didn't mention putting chips with his cash or gems. 霍克葛格: Maybe it is those rubbers putting chips there to make sure no one get those bags othern than them? 亞當: I got the other signal! 包子大: Where? 亞當: Here! 霍克葛格: You mean here on the city? 亞當: I mean right here in this building! 霍克葛格跟包子大拿著追蹤儀器一路在實驗室中移動, 結果來到法醫室... 席德大叔: ... I went out for coffee, and come back with this John Doe waiting for me. (看著包子大和霍克葛格接近屍體開始搜查) 　　　　　Uh, what are we looking for? 包子大: A nanochip that is about the size of a rice grain. 霍克葛格: I got it! 包子大: But who the hell is he? (看著不明男子的屍體) Jo: Mac, the bullet killed the rubber fits with Melvin's gun. 包子大: And it is the same gun Melvin used to kill Little Pete two days ago. We got the match. Jo: So the rubber is Logan... (出示檔案) 包子大: Look at all those records... Jo: He's pretty hard-core and high-tech. These guys are who work with him. 包子大: The kid is not inside. Based on his look, his clothes, He's not one of them. 霍克葛格跟席德大叔檢查John Doe屍體~~ 席德大叔: We may not know who he is, but we do know how he died. (指著死者額頭中間的彈孔)　There's no sign of defensive wound. 霍克葛格: Maybe he couldn't defense himself. (檢查死者脖子上的一抹紅線) 　　　　　Could it be a knife? (撿起脖子上的碎片) 席德大叔: So, this kid is beaten, cut and shut? For simply a street mugging? Jo跟包子大討論案情, 蒙大拿走進來... 蒙大拿: When would you toss a coin to make a wish? Jo: For my kid, I would. Or for Alabama to win CBS college bowl again? 蒙大拿: Okay, but most people are wishing for money... 包子大: I'm wishing there is a point here. 蒙大拿: Yes, there is. We found this from our John Doe. (丟出一枚銅板) 包子大: (接住) Hum, he made a wish? 蒙大拿解釋說他們發現死者身上有水花濺過的痕跡, 跟某公園裡的許願噴泉水吻合. 蒙大拿: So, you make a wish for money. And a bag fall from the sky...　 Jo: The robbers could follow the signal and killed the kid. 蒙大拿: He might thought it is his best day in the world at first... 包子大: Turns out to be everything but. 丹尼繼續檢查跡證中, 亞當經過, 忍不住問了丹尼說如果是他接到這樣一比從天而降的財富, 他會怎麼做? 丹尼: Turn it in. 亞當: Really? 丹尼: What? You won't? 亞當: ... you know, your dreams can all come true in that moment. 丹尼: But you know somewhere out there other people are getting hurt... 霍克葛格經過~~ 丹尼: Hey! Hawks! We have a debate here. What will you do if you got a million of dollars gems from the street? Turn in or kept it? 霍克葛格: I'd give that to the guy who held a knife on my throst! 結果原來霍克葛格利用死者脖子上的刀鋼碎片找到刀子持有人啦~~ 弗帥: Is it fun to pull out a knife in public and to use it to clean your nails, Arnorld? Arnorld: What? Is that a crime now? 弗帥: No, it's just disgusting. Unless, of course, you use the same knife to kill someone. Arnorld: I don't know what you're talking about. 弗帥: Let me jar your memory. (出示John Doe照片) Arnorld: He's dead? 弗帥: Nice try! Arnorld: I didn't kill him! The kid came walking across the part... (回想畫面, Arnorld持刀要男子拿出皮夾跟現金來) 弗帥: ... You didn't check the bag? Arnorld: Come'on, I'm professional. I stick with cash and jewerly only. I don't take the risk to get some college kids' stinky socks! 弗帥: ... (笑了) Arnorld:　Why? What's in the bag? 弗帥: (笑不可抑) Five million dollars. 弗帥審問完後告訴丹尼審問結果~~ 弗帥: I garantee you he'll regret for that decision for a long time. 弗帥走回辦公室, 看到一名金髮女子站在他桌前... 弗帥: Can I help you? 女子: (轉身) Jenny Harper. I am here to report someone's missing. 　　　My boyfriend.　He was coming in here this morning to turn in a bag he 　　　found. 弗帥: ... Do you have a picture? (Jenny點頭並出示手機裡的照片, 正是John Doe) 　　　Why don't you take a seat. 數分鐘過後~~ 弗帥: Here's some water. Jenny: I was calling Heath all this morning. I want to convience myself that he was fine. But I knew... I just knew... When I got this... It came from his number. (撥放出手機裡的錄音, 無人說話, 但可以聽到雜音) 　　　 He was just going to the police station for God's sake. He was going to retun it. 弗帥: Did he mention how he get the bag? Jenny: He'd always walk through the park to go home. He'd make a wish aside the fortune spring there. Last night, he said, the wish came true. (回想畫面, Jenny看著Heath倒出來的珠寶, 兩人大笑) (Heath忽然拿起一枚翡翠戒指戴到Jenny手上...) (Heath: Remember what I said? That if we work hard, one day we can make a) ( different. Now we can finally have a real life.) (Jenny: (沉沒半晌)　Heath, we'll need to return it.) (Heath: ... Yeah, I know. It's fun to dream though, all right?０ Jenny: You won't blam him, right? Cause he wanted to keep it. 弗帥: No. And he's lucky to have a girlfriend like you who pointed him the right direction. Jenny: Right, the direction got him killed. 弗帥: The fact that he's bringing it to us doesn't save his life, but it might save yours. 包子大讓亞當清查Jenny手機留言的來源~~ 包子大: By your fingers, not your asses. 丹尼跟Jo說明他的最新發現... 丹尼: Guess what? Those yellow things are pollens! Jo: Pollen? 丹尼: All 15 different variaties. Jo: (看著丹尼出示的物種)　None of these are native to New York. 丹尼: Yap, and I cross flower shops with all those flowers. One of them is only a few miles away from where we found the helicopter. 弗帥跟丹尼前往該花店, 在不遠處就發現了可疑車輛, 兩人包夾過去... 弗帥: NYPD. Put your hands on where I can see them. Did you hear me? 兩人小心翼翼敲開車門, 另外兩名搶匪卻死在裡面了丹尼: So much for a clean getaway. 回到局裡, 蒙大拿跟Jo還有包子大說明調查結果. 蒙大拿: No sign for the missing gems. The two bodies are Ted and Paul. 　　 They both had a lot records... And this guy just spent two years in jail for xxxxx. Jo: Just two years? 蒙大拿: Well, the lawyer is Carson. Jo: What an coincidence! 蒙大拿: And we checked the records of their gun... Guess who belongs to it? 包子大於是跟Carson談話~~ Carson: You guys found the gems? 包子大: you recognize any of them? (出示搶匪的照片) Carson: No? 包子大: They're all former clients of yours. Carson: It's my job. 包子大: That's not the reason why they decided to rub you all together. Carson: You can ask them. 包子大: That's not possible. They're a little bit dead right now. And you know what? They use your gun. Carson: I'm a lawyer. My clients come and go every day. Anyone of them can walk away with that gun. 包子大: You know what? I think there is a possibility that you staged all these. Carson: This might be the highlight of your career, detective. Going after me. But that doesn't make sence. The client would slit my throat if I didn't return those gems. 包子大: I don't know. Mayve you get sick carrying from their wallets? I didn't hear a denial. Carson: You have a phone? 包子大: I assume you want to call your lawyer? Carson: I don't need to. But you will. Because if you go after me, I will hit haunt you and your lab to ger prosecution to spin your head! 包子大: I am merely stay with the evidences, and right now the evidence don't look right with you. And, I'm still not hearing a denial. (離開) Jo: Mac, this is the bullet shut Belson. Take a look at it. 包子大: ... Means it's tumbling when it hits Belson. Jo: Yes, it means something between him and the bullet. Like a sandbag. And, Lindsay actually found sands in the crime scene. You know, Belson is Carson's body guard. He has the access to his clients, his gun, and his all gems... 包子大: Belson staged his own shooting. 鏡頭轉到前往病房探視James Belson的丹尼, 房間空無一人... 回到局裡... 丹尼: Wow, I don't know what to say, Mac. 包子大: None of us did. Walk with me. (兩人邊走邊談) 　　　　Never know what a man is capable of. Even for an old friend. 丹尼: How does a turn of bad luck make a man change? 亞當: (衝向兩人) I got it!!! 丹尼: You got what? 亞當: The message! 包子大: Heath left a message to Jenny? 亞當: He didn't leave the message, but a message is left. 電話不是Heath打的, 應該是James誤按的. 三人檢視Heath死亡現場的照片, 發現血跡之中有一處方型的空白... 丹尼: There is a void. So he took the phone from Heath. 包子大: We got to track that phone. 亞當: I got the signal... Just a few blocks away from where Heath is killed. 丹尼: He got all the bags back. Why? 亞當: He's on the move... 包子大: Maybe not all the gems... Jenny躺在家裡的沙發上, 想著Heath最後跟她說的話, 結果卻從沙發底下摸出那枚翡翠戒指... 此時James人也已經到了Jenny門外了~~他敲了門~~ Jenny: Who's there? Hello? (利用門口往外看) Oh, my God! 丹尼: (出現在James身後) Put down that gun now, Jimmy. James: Or? You gonna shut me? 丹尼: And not think twice about it. Just put the gun down! James: You don't know what I went through! I loose my life! 丹尼: You think that's just to build five bodies? James: You don't know that feeling! 丹尼: ... Doesn't matter, Jimmy. Just put the gun down or I'll shoot you. James: ... (還是放下槍了) Danny, I'm sorry. 丹尼: (把人銬起來) Screw you! You're sorry? You're sorry... 弗帥: (看著丹尼把人押走)　Miss. Harper, this is detective Flack. You're safe now... 回到局裡, 包子大清點他們從James車廂裡找到的珠寶中~~ Carson: Can I have the gems back now? 包子大: They're still evidences now. Carson: What should I say to my clients? 包子大: You're talktive. Persuade them not to kill you. Carson: Can I at least make sure everything is right? 包子大: Be my guest. Carson: (低頭審視珠寶) Wait, where is the ring? The Emerald ring! It worths at least one million dollars! 包子大: I don't know, those are all we get from Belson's trunk. Carson: Maybe Belson kept it with him somewhere? 包子大: No, we checked all his places. And it is highly possible that he lost it somewhere. It could be anywhere of New York now.
