You'll be a great dad~~ 之防雷頁本集重點: 1) Jo姐跟Ellie的母女情深&帥前夫Russ的情義相挺(啊?) 2) 原來美國也有金光黨(筆記) 片頭, 紐約地鐵裡人潮洶湧, 一名拄著柺杖的老人通過收費台, 走到月台邊緣, 被進入車廂的人潮越過, 老人差點上不了車, 老人進入滿是人的車廂, 結果是Jo的女兒Ellie讓了座... Ellie: I am getting off next stop. So you can sit. 老人: Thank you. 此時一名男子注意到這個老人... 男子: Hey, old man, what did you get? Looks like a cigar box! You're the one. It's you. Remember me? 某群眾: Hey! Man, leave him alone! 男子: (湊進老人) You and I are going off together at next stop. 地鐵停靠在Penn Station, 男子拉著老人下車, 老人拿起柺杖反擊, 敲了男子好多下, 男子還手, 眾人只聽見一聲悶響, 接著老人倒地, 腹部流出大量血跡, 男子在混亂之中逃跑. 路人: I think he's hurt. I think he's hurt! Call 911! Jo趕到現場, 看到包子大. Jo: Where is she? 包子大: There. Jo: Ellie! Ellie: Mom! Jo: Are you okay? 包子大接近正在處理現場的弗帥和霍克葛格. 弗帥: Hey, Mac, want a bet? 包子大: Obviously you know something I don't, what it? 弗帥: How old the man is you would say? 包子大: Late 70s, probably, why? 弗帥: Doc, you want tell him? 霍克葛格: (聳肩) Mid-30 would be the closest guess. 包子大: What? 霍克葛格: And, he's a woman. (彎下身從死者臉上取下人皮面具) 弗帥: I like my black coffee with sugar. 霍克葛格拍照蒐證, 弗帥訪問目擊者. 弗帥: No ID on our vic. According to witness, they heared a gun shot. The description for our killer is all the same: Cocaicin man, black hair, blue eyes. People saw the vic got to the train on 28th Street. 包子大: Anyone spot the gun? 弗帥: No, no one seem have a clue. 霍克葛格: Well,the wound suggests it was a close contact. It makes sence, but, no trace of GSR. 包子大: So we have witnesses saying they heard gun shot. But we have the evidence suggesting that our vic is not killed by a gun? 丹尼負責對Ellie做筆錄, Jo陪在旁邊. Ellie: He sits right there. And I was standing here. The guy wants to know what's in the cigar box. 丹尼: Does them seem to know each other? Ellie: Yeah. He asked if he remembered him. And he smalled bad. 丹尼: The old guy? Ellie: No, the other man, I smelled it when he passed me. I remembered that because he lost his balance. Jo: Possibly a palm print we can use. 丹尼: (點頭) Did you see the gun? Ellie: No, but I heared it. It's not loud. It sounds like in the movie that those bad guy have a silencer. 丹尼: But you did hear that. Ellie: Yeah, but only once, and there are a lot of blood... 丹尼: (停住, 對Jo眨眨眼) I think we're good here. Thanks. (離開) Jo: Do you good, kiddo? I have one more question. Let's get back to my office. 蒙大拿來幫忙蒐證, Jo帶著Ellie慢慢走回辦公室. Jo: All right, what are you doing on the train? Aren't you supposed to be in school? Ellie: I was going home. I don't feel well. (看著Jo塞給她的飲料) I don't want this. I don't like it. Jo: Fine. (拿過飲料丟進垃圾桶) You never lie to me, don't start now, Ellie. You know you can call me if you don't feel well, and I'll go pick you up. Did you even go to the school? Do Lacey and Ann have anything to do with this? Ellie: No! Why don't you like my friends!? Jo: Oh no, you don't ever try to change the topic! What are you doing on that train? Ellie: I don't want you to be mad with me. (哭) Jo: I'm not mad at you! I'm just... I can't shake the idea that you run out of the school, and there is someone on that place have a gun or what, you gotta get hurts! We have a pact, remember? Honesty, no matter what. I need to know the truth. Come on, Ellie, you could tell me. Ellie: I was going to visit my Mom. My real Mom. (哭) Jo: (軟化, 抱住Ellie) Oh, Ellie. 席德大叔驗屍採指紋中... 席德大叔: (在屍體傷口附近發現奇怪的現象) Isolated cyianise? 霍克葛格來聽取報告. 席德大叔: ... she's bleeding out. And get this, no GSR. Wound trace appeared to be disturbed. Moreover, the tissues around the wound were frozen on impact. I've been in this job for a long time. But... the weapon that can cause that injury is one that I have never seen. 丹尼去找正在處理其他跡證的蒙大拿跟亞當. 丹尼: Our suspect's palm print got me nothing in AFIS. And this isn't some kind of custome store thing. (指面具) How about the cigar box? 蒙大拿: Just newspapaers inside. No prints other than our victim's were on the box. Witness said that the suspect never even touched the box. The mask, the box... I think she is definitely behind something. 亞當忽然對著電腦螢幕大笑起來, 丹尼瞥了一眼也忍不住笑了, 亞當正在用顏面模擬程式把蒙大拿改成老太婆的樣子. 丹尼: Hey! Come'on! That's not right! Stop it! 蒙大拿: What? (繞過桌子) Is that me? No! (捶丹尼) 丹尼: Hey! I didn't do that! (笑) 蒙大拿: Yeah, but you laught at me! You gonna go married to her! 亞當: (看到包子大走過來) Oh, here comes boss. 包子大: What you guys are doing? 亞當: Huh, I recovered the rust from the crime scene, but it leads to no where. 丹尼: Rust, huh? You'll be started at dead end without us. 蒙大拿: I checked the box but found nothing useful. And Danny's palm print is a dead end. I start thinking that she was probably hiding something and she will then be under records. 丹尼: Which, I thought it doesn't look so since no one decribed such a suspect to us before. 蒙大拿: I'm your wife. Okay? You don't have to turn to me! 亞當偷笑包子大: You guys finished? Okay, I think where the location can buy such a mask is a good start. It's not some original costume store. Danny, see if you can find out some trace on the print that can lead us. (死者的電話忽然響起) Get the phone. Go trace it, Danny. And put it on the speaker. 男子: Hello? 包子大: Hello? Who are you contacting for? 男子: My wife Renee. Who the hell are you? 死者的先生被請來, 包子大在驗屍室玻璃外陪著他, 席德大叔揭開屍布. 男子: That's Renee(哭). I don't understand, what happened? 包子大: There is a stuggle outside the Penn Station. 男子: No, no. It didn't make any sence. My wife is supposed to be on a flight to Miami. She's a flight assistant. I dropped her to JFK airport this morning myself. What was she doing there? 包子大: That's what we're going to find out. Did you wife behave strange recently, Mr. Garitty? 男子: No, no, she's.. herself. 包子大: Any family members? Friends? 男子: There is no family. Her mom died when she was young. Her dad died before we met. Friends... oh God I don't ever think I met her friends. She'd talked to them on the phones, but... 包子大: I would love to have their names. 男子: I- I don't know their last name. She... she always call them. (繼續哭) We just got married six months ago. Before that we just met each other about six months. I- I dropped her to the airport today. You think would it be all right I just went inside there? To say goodbye? 包子大: Sure, I'll leave you the time to be alone there. 包子大讓Mr. Garritti進去, 一抬頭剛好看到弗帥走進來. 弗帥: The last name he gave us, Wescott, didn't work. Either he is lying to us. Or he has no idea who he married withh. 包子大: So there is no Renee Wescott? 弗帥: No, Renee Wescott died 12 years ago. 霍克葛格想破頭那一堆果凍人在測試可能的凶器, 找不到100% match的. 蒙大拿: (走進來) You're doing a lot of damage here. 霍克葛格: Yeah, I am desperated to know what kind of weapon can cause a damage like a gun but is not a gun. 蒙大拿: (看著攤在桌上的嫌疑物) Staple gun, nail gun... A vole captive shot!? 霍克葛格: And it closely mimic the wound, just closly. 蒙大拿: Sid mentioned that the tissues around the wound is frozen. Does any of them capable to shoot liquid nitrogen? 霍克葛格: No... but adable cooling is possible! That's it! 蒙大拿: So what is the weapon we're looking for now? 霍克葛格: (興奮的往外衝) I wouldn't know before I batched those guys. Thanks! Jo走進包子大辦公室. Jo: How's the case going? 包子大: Harrien Garrity has no idea who the woman he married really was. We have no idea what the murder weapon could be and where our suspect is. And... how is Ellie? Jo: I forced her to read some sciense magzine in my office. She'll be fine. 包子大: And how are you? Jo: ... I think I messed up. You know, my friend once told me that "usually after people got divorces, they took vacation to Europe or somewhere to rebound some of their relationships, but you.. you adopt a child!" 包子大: The point? Jo: I don't know if it would be professional... I never told Ellie the truth about her mother. I told her that she lived in Connectict... And I thought she was satisfied with those unimportant details. Or at least she'll want to know more until I am ready! She never said a word about that! And all of a sudden, she's on a train to Connectict to visit her mother! 包子大: She sounds pretty determinded. Jo: Determinded? She's lost of mind. She skipped the school, lied to me, and tried to go to an unfamiliar place all alone! And ... and all those make me felt so guilty that I didn't tell the truth at first. Did I do wrong? 包子大: No, you just complicated it a little bit. You gonna tell her the truth now. Jo: I don't think I can say it. 包子大: (看到Russ先生跟Jo兒子從電梯走出來) Maybe these guys can help. Jo: (轉頭) Oh, Tyler. 三人走到餐飲區. Tyler: I'm sorry, Mom. Ellie asked me how far Connectict is. I thought it's for homework. Jo: It's okay, Tyler. You didn't do anything wrong. (轉頭對前夫說) You don't have to company him all here. Tyler: Is Ellie okay? She sounds very upset. Russ: It's okay. And I haven't got the chance to have a lunch with Ellie yet. Maybe another day. It's a tough day for her. Jo: Tyler, why didn't you take Ellie home? Tyler: Sure. (離開) Jo: Okay, Russ, we're not messing this with our relations. Russ: Me? I'm here for you. Ellie wants to see her real mother, and I know it scared the hell out of you. You don't have to put all those tough and strong faces all alone. Jo: What? You have a secret note listing all the weakness about your ex-wife? Russ: No, but there is a list about what I should taking care of for her. And I did care. 蒙大拿告訴包子大說人皮面具/雪笳盒等等跟一個FBI的舊案子有關... 蒙大拿: I am pulling data from FBI right now. I was hoping maybe you can put some of your muscle to them? 包子大: I can do better. There's a FBI agent in our lab now. 包子大詢問Russ關於那個案子, 某個叫Quicy Wills的詐欺騙子, Russ解釋了Quicy常用的手法(就那種老式的金光黨), 包子大出示死者照片... Russ: Got be Quicy's daughther, Sabina. She's picking up what Quicy left out. Ciggar box, newspapers... That was Quicy's old trick. There must be a lot of people out there felt sorry they ever met her. 蒙大拿: Well, where are they? We never got any complains. 包子大: That's because our seach was centered to a 30-year old woman. But what we should look is a 80-year old man! 弗帥詢問某受害者... 男子: Oh, yeah, I'll never forget that weasel. 他是在大街上排隊等著要買票, 老人靠近他們說這樣排隊實在太辛苦了, 他可以幫忙買優惠票, 其中一個排隊的人於是拿了錢給老人... 男子: He got that 20 dollars, and got back a ticket to that kid. Nice seat, and then... 弗帥: And the rest was easy. And once he got everyone's money, he never comes back. 蒙大拿詢問另一個受害者. 男子: You guys got my watch and my money back? 蒙大拿: No. 男子: I guess I shouldn't feel sorry for the old guy. Try to help a guy out, right? He said he has some problems to change something with those guys at the corner... I was so stupid. He show me how to use newspaper to wrap the money and then handed to those guys. And I saw he did have things under his belt. So, I go back to find out he's gone with my watch and wallet. 蒙大拿: He made the switch plan to show you he carries the money. 男子: I am stupid. It hurts that it makes people hesitate to provide hands to those who might really need help. 蒙大拿: Huh... you ever seen the movie The Sting? 男子: I once catched it from the middle, why? 蒙大拿: Well, maybe you'll learn much from the beginning. 蒙大拿跟弗帥討論的結果發現幾乎所有受害者都不知道"老翁"的真實身分蒙大拿: There's chance to say no, to refuse. And they just all bite it. It's shame. I know I probably should tell them that "he" is actually a woman. But I wouldn't. 弗帥: Yeah? 蒙大拿: It will only make them more emberrased. If I'm the one who did that and then revealed to them I'm actually not the guy who they think I am. They would kick me off. 弗帥: Maybe our killer found out? Russ跟Jo在Jo的公寓裡. Jo: Well, Ellie is calm now. Russ: She's kinda of a magic. You want to talk to her? Or I can go talk to her? Jo: No, this one I gonna to do by myself. Russ: All right, good luck. (輕吻一下Jo的額頭後離開) Ellie: Mom? You're not going to work? Jo: No, Honey, I thought maybe I would take you to see your biological mother. Ellie: Will you? (睜大眼睛) Jo: Yes. If it is what you want. But before that, I have something need to tell you. Come here, Honey. (Ellie在沙發坐下) Your mother, Gina Becker, was very young when she had you. She doesn't own a good life. And she has some drug problems. Ellie: She was drug addict? We... we read about all those influences about drugs on infants... Was I? Jo: Yes, you were born a little bit with dependecy on coccaine. Jo: I don't know, Ellie. I don't know. Ellie: But you said she lived in Connectict. Jo: She is. She's in prison there. She was involved in a murder with some other really bad guys. And I'm the one who put her out, Ellie. Ellie: Will she ever get out? Jo: I don't know. Ellie: You adopted me because you felt guilty? Jo: No. I'm not regret for what I did. It's just... Gina didn't have any family. So you'll end in Child System and fostering families, and... (停住) I adopted you because you need me. And because I need you. 霍克葛格開心的跟包子大, 丹尼和亞當解釋他發現的凶器. 霍克葛格: Out murder weapon is a HPK knife! The high pressure release the gas makes the sound and causes the trace aroung the wound! Divers, hunters, militaries... those are the people who use it. 丹尼: I found a biological trace from the print: titancan bacteria. 亞當: Which is named since it is found first in the Titanic. It must come from some underwater icicles. 丹尼: Attached to some submerged things like U-boats. 霍克葛格: So it come from a diver. 包子大: ... there's a German U-boat outside the shore of New Jersey. Find him. 丹尼跟弗帥去逮人, 嫌犯一瞄見兩人就偷偷的準被開溜了... 丹尼: How are you doing? We're looking for Jayson Lock? 工作隊成員: He's just here. 丹尼: (對弗帥說) Let's go find him. Jayson在碼頭的雜物中躲躲藏藏的走著, 不小心撞翻鐵罐. 丹尼: Jayson? we just want to talk to you! 弗帥: NYPD! Show your hands! Jayson推翻兩人眼前的雜物, 拿出刀試圖要攻擊弗帥被閃過, 最後被丹尼一把推撞到地上. 丹尼: (持槍對準Jayson) Do me a favor and move! Go ahead! 包子大偵訊Jayson 包子大: How much money were you taken? Jayson? Jayson: I don't know what you're talking about. 包子大: All our evidence suggested that you know. So let's me try this again: how many money were you taken? Jayson: $50000 包子大: By Sabrina Wills? Jayson: Is that her real name? I met her when she's a bartender. I... I fell hardly with her. I was a lonely guy. She's a very hot girl? I was just so stupid. She said she has a plan to rub those two rich guys' money. I did. It was just too easy. I should know that. And several nights later, I went back. She said they found out. She said they'll kill her if she didn't give the money back. She was beaten. And... and somehow the money in the cigar box became just newspapers. 包子大: So you clean up all your savings. Jayson: Yeah, I also sold my truck, my guitar... all for her. Then... Never saw her again. I thought they really killed her. I tried to find her. Took weeks, and then it all become clear. I'm just part of a big spam. 包子大: The cuts and bruises - they are fake. How did you know it's Sabina on the train? Jayson: At first, I saw the box. I remember all the pages. I'll never forget it. So I approached her. I remember the way she smell. And I saw those golden hairs under the hat... I didn't plan to kill her. I didn't. But I was mad and I pulled the knife... Did she do this to somebody else? 包子大: (抬眼看了看在偵訊室玻璃外的Mr. Garritti) A few. Jayson: (叫住要離開的包子大) Hey, Detective. Do me a favor. Tell my brother that I'm sorry. He need that money, and I'll never be able to get them back now. 包子大: I will. Jo跟Ellie在等火車 Ellie: ... I don't want to do this. I don't want to see her. Jo: Did you change your mind? Ellie: It's all because Asyllh Cooper. Jo: Who is this Asyllh Cooper? Ellie: A girl in our school. She looks so much like her mom. Smooth hair, big eyes... I won't grow up looks like you, so I just want... Jo: You just want to know how she looks like. Ellie: I thought about it. I would want to see her one day. But today, I'm kind of scared and I don't know what I'll say... Jo: It's okay. We have time. We'll go when you're ready. 包子大走進辦公大樓, 看到Jo出現. 包子大: What are you doing here? Jo: Forget my homework on my table. 包子大: Your desk? Jo: Okay, thank you. I know it's a mess. 包子大: So how did it go? Jo: It didn't happen. Ellie changed her mind. 包子大: Teenagers. Jo: That absolutely help. Have you ever consider getting married and have a child? 包子大: Huh? Jo: Okay, skip the marriage part, but adopt a child? 包子大: What about all those parent's confusions? Jo: Mystery loves company, huh? You'll make a good father. Really! Or you can consider to be a grandfather? 包子大: Hey, if I promise to take you to eat some burgers, will you drop it? Jo: Damn. You know me have a crave for food. All right. Let's get some really juicy and spaucy nice burgers. But seriously, you'll make a great father. 包子大: Jo! 本集心得: 1) 亞當很欠揍. 笨蛋夫妻的打情罵俏好閃...... XDD 2) Jo說"...because you need me.
