24 ASKS BIG MONEY FOR FINALE ADS
Fox is expecting advertisers to pay a premium as Jack Bauer rides off into
the sunset (or gets carried out on a stretcher) during the 24 series finale
in May. Advertising Age reports that the network is asking $650,000 for a
30-second ad in the final episode – a three-fold increase from the $200,000
to $280,000 it normally charges for a half-minute message.
