Hugh Laurie:"I made a girl laugh in a bar, so many stories start that way..." 記得前一陣子新聞報這兩位會有一個reunited tv show, 就一直很期待, 上個星期 UK GOLD 終於播出啦..... http://tinyurl.com/2ufr6tm 這真的是一部很有趣的紀錄片, 先有各自的訪問, 再有兩個老搭檔坐下來互相嘲笑與回想舊時光, 最好笑的大概是兩個人對第一次見面的記憶完全不一樣吧.... Stephen Fry:"So I was in my room at Cambridge and Emma comes around one evening. ""I want you to meet Hugh Laurie."" I said OK so we walked up toward Selwyn, his college, knocked on the door and his girlfriend Katie answered." Emma跟我說"我要介紹Hugh Laurie 給你認識", 我們就一起到他的房間 Hugh Laurie:"I think we met in his room, or rooms in Queen's. " 我記得我們是在他皇后學院的房間見面的 Stephen Fry:"and he said would you like a glass of wine or coffee? I said yes." Hugh 問我要不要咖啡或酒 Hugh Laurie:"I seem to remember him making tea and crumpets which is very adult fusty thing to do." Stephen準備了茶跟茶點, 這是一件非常傳統大人式的作法 Stephen Fry:"and Hugh was sitting on the bed with a guitar..." Hugh拿著吉他坐在床上 Hugh Laurie:"He wore tweed jacket and somke a pipe can u believe. By the way, kids, NO, not until you're foreign secretary at least should you even contemplate smoking pipe, that would be my advise." 他穿著紳士般的夾克還抽根煙斗, 對了, 我的建議是, 除非你已經是外交部長, 你才能考慮要不要做抽煙斗這件事 Stephen Fry:"and he said""I've written a song."" and he played the song." 他說我寫了一首歌, 然後開始彈 Hugh Laurie:"We played chess, a very very strong chess player." 我們下西洋棋, Stephen是個很強勁的對手 Stephen Fry:"and he said ""what do you think?"", I said""brilliant!!"". He put his guitar down and explained he paid about 5 pounds for it from Woolworths." 他說, 你覺得如何? 我認為太讚了, 他把吉他放下向我解釋這把吉他是在Woolworths買的, 值5鎊 Hugh Laurie:"Absolutely B*********!!!" 完全胡說八道 Stephen Fry:"It was just amazing." Hugh Laurie:"Guitar didn't come from Woolworths. It was a Yamaha guitar which I still got it, 75 Pounds." 吉他不是在Woolworths的, 是Yamaha, 值75鎊 Stephen Fry:"Everytime he wanted to get a more expensive or better guitar, he didn't like it as much as this Woolworths guitar." 每次他想要一個貴一點的吉他或是好一點的, 他總是還是最喜歡他 Woolworths這把 Hugh Laurie:"Now I DOUBT EVERYTHING he's ever said to me." 我現在懷疑任何他對我說的話有很多名人都有接受訪問, 像是Emma Thompson(Footlights成員之一)等... 一些Youtube 片段: Fry & Laurie Reunited 2010 - Autobiographical Mistake http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0i1ZqxlVgI
