Britney Spears will appear on 'Glee'
Gleeks are abuzz today. After endless speculation, Glee creator Ryan Murphy
says Britney Spears is definitely going to appear on the Fox show during its
upcoming second season.
"Britney, I think 100 percent, is going to be on the episode," Murphy told
Ryan Seacrest during a chat this morning on Ryan's radio show.
Murphy said "the fun Britney stuff happens" when members of the show's glee
club go under anesthesia at the dentist and hallucinate about the singer, 28.
"They have fantasies of how they can be like her," he explained.
Britney will join other guests lined up including John Stamos (playing the
dentist in the episode), Carol Burnett and Javier Bardem. "The show is, by
its nature, about arts education," he says, "and I think everybody wants to
support that."
