After 14 years on the air, MTV has canceled the series, sources familiar tell Deadline. 播出14年的老牌綜藝《Ridiculousness》即將迎向終點，因為MTV已經在今天做出取消節目的決定。 The cancellation comes on the heels of the Paramount-Skydance merger, MTV’s par ent, which has resulted in thousands of layoffs companywide. 此項決議發生於派拉蒙與天舞兩家影視的併購生效之後，MTV與其母公司（的相關企業）也因此決定解僱高達四位數起跳的員工。 The company is working to reimagine MTV for the future, we hear, with a more cur ated slate featuring fresh formats, different creative voices and refreshed prog ramming. 天舞集團目前正努力改造MTV在未來的定位，預計將聘用新的創意人才打造全新的節目。 No more original episodes will be produced, we hear, with new, previously produc ed first-run episodes continuing to air on MTV through 2026.
