I'm the best rapper alive since the best rapper retired. 熱男孩中最年幼的洨偉恩 aka Birdman Junior aka Weezy F Baby近年來快速竄紅, 自從500 Degreez發行以來, 他的人氣指數扶搖直上, 發行的mixtape基本上已經是數不清了, 在訪問中他以workaholic來形容自己, 每天都會進錄音室, 每天都會有作品, 較有名的像是dedication系列, the drought系列, 他也是DJ Drama的Gangsta Grill系列裡的常客, DJ Khaled的南岸大團結歌曲也會有他, 就連Little Brother的Get Back裡也赫然發現他的身影, 先不論作品的品質以數量來說他確實可以居冠饒舌圈. 在比較瘋狂的粉絲心目中他已經是可以跟Biggie和Pac平起平坐的饒舌傳奇, 而他今年才26歲. 養父Baby更在一篇雜誌訪問中說Pac重生在Lil Wayne的身體裡. 以下就簡單介紹他的卡特三部曲. 首部曲Tha Carter全美賣了一百多萬張, 整張專輯大部分的歌曲Cash Money當家製作人Mannie Fresh操刀, Lil Wayne將上一張專輯500 Degreez正是要diss離開Cash Money的Juvenile(400 Degreez是Juve最成功的專輯), 不過在卡特一裡一首I Miss My Dawgs道盡對三位熱哥哥的思念, I never change and I miss ya, and it's strange but I never forget ya, 三段歌詞跟別寫給先後離開的B.G., Juve和Turk. 多愁善感只是Lil Wayne的一面, gangsta的基本歌曲當然不會少, I aint never gave a shit about a motherfucker, Hit em up watch the guts come out a young's stomach; Run up in ya place while you are sleeping await the Calicos, AK's, Uzi-Machine got ya misplacing your arms and losing your knees.(Heat from Tha Carter) 整張專輯的題材圍繞在New Orlean的街頭幫派故事, 派對歌曲(Go DJ), 心情歌曲(On My Own) 以及一些炫耀自己多有錢多fly的歌(Cash Money Millionaire), 當然也給女生的歌曲 (Earthquake) 在三名Hot Boys成員離開後, Lil Wayne成為Cash Money的主打歌手, 在這張專輯可以感受到他的饒舌技巧跟風格都逐漸成熟. 2005的卡特二, 在沒有Mannie Fresh製作下大賣了兩百多萬張, 這個時期的洨偉恩也是大部分人認為巔峰時期的洨偉恩, 這張也確實是我最喜歡的洨偉恩專輯. 首支單曲Fireman一發行就打入Billboard第32名(好像也沒很厲害..)不過這首歌真的是 Club每放必high的派對國歌. 卡特二的Intro Fly In, 不同於卡特一的Walk In, 顯然就任何方面來說Lil Wayne都已經站在比卡特一更高的位置, 不過一首Tha Mobb應是擺在 Intro之前, 沒有副歌洨偉恩一個人飆完整整五分半歌詞似乎是迫不及待想證明實力給所有人看. We can't see but we gon make it to the finish line, it's right there the goal line right behind the scrimmage line, touchdown check the scoreboard gimme nine, semi 9 fit fine hit a nigga 20 times.(Tha Mobb from Tha Carter II) 在來就是受爭議的The Best Rapper Alive, 個人認為是他所有歌中最好聽的一首 Bring the crowd and I'm loud in living colour. It's Weezy F Baby got these rappers in my stomach, yumi, I taking it all. I aint asking them for nothing. If you sell a million records, we can battle for your money. I rather count a hundred thousand dollars on a Sunday. Watch a football game and bet it all on one play. 配上超有氣勢的instrumental, 聽一次就愛上了. 另外再推薦一首 hardcore單曲Hit Em Up. Lay a nigga down in his own mess, don't mess, playa fuck around with the homeless, charmless. You can leave out armless, no homies. Receipt和與Robin Thicke合作的Shooter也很不錯. 尤其Shooter的第一段是個人的最愛. 儘管Cash Money眾將紛紛出走, 也是影響不了Lil Wayne的發展. 這時候的Wayne真的是如日中天, 粉絲對卡特三的期待幾乎可以比擬Detox. 08年卡特三正式發行, 僅僅一週就達到platinum. 上一張能達成這項成績的是50 Cent的The Massacre. 首支單曲棒棒糖搭上autotune的熱潮自然也是快速拿下好成績. 新專輯的製作團隊和跨刀歌手都是重金打造的. Mr. Carter找來了曾經有小beef 一下的Jay-Z客串. I'm right here, in my chair. With my crown and my dear, Queen B as I share, Mic time with my heir. Jay也相當客套的認同Weezy是他的承襲者. Wayne第一段的最後幾句也很不錯. I got summer hating on me cus I'm hotter than the sun. Got spring hating on me cus I aint never sprung. Winter hating on me cus I'm colder than yall. I would never, would never, would never fall. I'm being hated by the seasons so fuck yall wha hating for no reason. 個人最喜歡的是Cool & Dre製作的3 Peat. 算是這張專輯少有的凶悍歌曲. I might go crazy on these niggas, I don't give motherfuck. Run up in a niggas house and shoot his grandmother up. What, what, I don't give a motherfuck. Get your baby kidnapped and your baby mother fucked. 這張專輯大部分的歌曲都是迎合大眾的取向. 喜歡卡特二的人大部分對這張評價不高. 我是覺得滿有娛樂性的, 放車上也頗high. Lil Wayne可以算是繼Eminem和50 Cent以來最具話題性的饒舌歌手, 常常在國外論壇看到支持者跟反對者大戰(最近變Drake了..) 老實說以前都只是知道有這位 Cash Money的歌手, 對他的作品一點興趣也沒有, 直到漸漸發覺論壇裡有三分之一的討論串都跟他有關才開始慢慢去聽他的東西. 說真的他做的爛歌真的很多,畢竟有名氣了常常幫人家跨刀都亂唸或是隨便用autotune呻吟幾句. 點石成金的Wayne真的唱片亂做都能賣. 還說下一張專輯要做Rock...當然他以前也是有很多屌歌, 真的要試了才知道. 如果有人也喜歡南岸音樂, 除了Atlants和Houston也不防聽聽這位來自New Orlean的熱男孩吧. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 130.85.244.55
