儘管今日抱了十二片加一七吋黑膠回家,
在聽完Savoy Grand和Early Days之後,我選了這片 Lorna "the never grow old EP"
...於是再也不想拆封其他的了.
We put on that record. Hearing that noise was my first ever feeling, music
you can smell, music you can taste, the old alarm clock said 4.35am. As
soon as we heard the distant noise of the road sweeper came the fear, the
fear of the morning. We won't admit it, but we know there will never be
another tonight, we made promises never to grow old, to never change, and
always remember hearing that noise for the first ever time.
出身自諾丁罕的Lorna原僅是當地local團,在自身廠牌Startrip下發了兩張專輯
"and if she comes tonight"和"winter songs"後,在2000年一月簽入Intromit廠
發行官方正式首張EP "the never grow old"
典雅而柔情的吉他盪音沈緩行進,或著那呢喃念著詩意般的歌詞...
從一支mp3,等著這樣一個local團果然是值得的..
