[新聞] Joan Baez 獲國際特赦頒發最高人權獎
這次獲獎者有兩位 ( 另一位為中國藝術家 / 民權人士艾未未 ),
不過亞洲媒體大多聚焦於艾未未, Joan Baez 獲獎的消息未見太多報導.

"Baez became involved in civil rights activism in the 1960s and helped esta-
-blish local Amnesty International groups in San Francisco in the early 1970s.
She said she was "proud" to be honoured, adding: "Amnesty International
attracted me because of its founding principle that all human rights abuses
and the suffering they create are unacceptable." "
無論如何, 恭喜長期致力於民權運動的 Joan Baez. :)
