來自 L.A. 的 24 歲年輕樂手 Lily Kershaw 與現今諸多年輕樂手 ( 尤其 L.A. 樂手更甚 ) 一樣，出身自演歌雙棲的環境。童星起家的 Lily 首次參與電視演出是在 2003 年，當時的她約 12 歲左右，客串演出了影集 "危機最前線 Third Watch"；到了 2012 年，Lily 自己的音樂作品 "As It Seems" 則首次出現於電視影集中，( "犯罪心理 Criminal Minds"，Lily 本人亦於 2009 年客串演出過該影集 )，開始吸引了樂評們的耳朵。 2013 年 9 月，Lily Kershaw 的首張個人創作專輯 "Midnight In The Garden" 於 Netwerk 旗下發行，風格融合了濃濃的民謠 & 些許鄉村記事，而 Lily 高亢細膩的聲線搭配著樸質柔和的旋律，感覺像極了近幾年大受注目的西班牙樂手 Russian Red。這張專輯的創作核心，Lily 自己形容為 "about death / heartache / break" ，"I like to be very honest & I like to tell stories.
