More than five years removed from her last regular work in primetime, actress Lauren Holly is returning to CBS. Holly is joining the cast of "NCIS" as a recurring player as the show enters its third season in the fall. She comes aboard in the wake of Sasha Alexander's departure, although Holly's character, Jenny Shepard, shouldn't be considered a replacement for Alexander's Kate Todd. 不是KATE的替代人選，也對！否則誰跟DINOZZO拌嘴呢? Shepard will be the new head of the NCIS unit where Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team work, according to The Hollywood Reporter. There may also be the possibility of inter-office romance between her and Gibbs. Cote de Pablo ("The Jury") is also joining the show, playing an Israeli agent who's an expert on terrorism. Harmon and Holly previously worked together on the final season of CBS' "Chicago Hope," which was also Holly's last foray into primetime.
