Harriet二度客串片場心得
Harriet是NCIS的audience liaison
她常在NCIS家族與粉絲聊天
她之前曾客串過一次
這是她第二次客串
但我不知這裏面有沒第四季劇情
(照道理講應該沒有
因為她說她不知Spoilers)
Tuesday was a picture-perfect day in Valencia; the L.A. heat had broken and
there was a dellightful breeze.
Director Dennis Smith was filming "my" scenes in "my" episode, "Escaped,"
that day, so I thought I would be at hand in the event of retakes or added
scenes (dream on!). And, I did want to meet my cyberspace lover, Mickey, played
by iconic actor Hal Holbrook. Which I did, and what a charmer he is; sad to
say, we don't have any scenes together, and Dennis advised, when prodded,
that neither do we have a physical relationship. At my crestfallen look, he
added, "Perhaps in the sequel."
Rosemary, part of the Diva's entourage (Divas never travel alone), took a
photo of us and hopefully, I'll add it to _www.HarrietNCIS.com_
(http://www.HarrietNCIS.com) shortly.
The scene takes place in Abby's lab, so, of course, I got to hang out with
Pauley between takes. And Gibbs is there, too. What largesse. So, after
being hugged by Abs, Mark took over and their welcome made me feel warm and
fuzzy. Mark always says I scream in protest whenever he embraces me, but since I
only come up to the middle of his chest, I always leave a makeup trail right
before his scenes. But he doesn't mind, no matter how guilty I feel.
This is the second episode to air, so Gibbs still looks scruffy, long hair,
five o'clock, no make that ten o'clock shadow, but he assured me he'll be
back to dapper soon. I told him the fan buzz was all about his last appearance
on "The West Wing" and that I finally had seen it, too, and enjoyed it
thoroughly. "The whole story arc? he asked, since he wasn't aware of it. "Yup," I
assured him, so thanks, all, for the heads up.
The only other character in the scene was our new "NCIS" agent, Michelle
Lee, played by actress Liza Lapira. Her last steady gig was on Showtime's
"Huff," which I hadn't seen, but you can do a net search and find out all about
it, which I just did. We discovered we were both New Yorkers, and not only
that, she grew up in Queens and I was a few blocks over in Jackson Heights.
Different decades, of course. But once a New Yorker.....
I still have the accent, and wondered at her cultured voice, but she was a
stage actress, appearing in all the classics, and Shakespeare, so that
explains it. Hmm, maybe it's not too late, y'think? So between takes we talked
about, what else, growing up in New York, making the hard transition to leave
family and friends and come to L.A., and how strange it was to learn to drive.
And our first car. "I bought a clunker," I said, imagining I was going to
be hitting all sorts of stationary objects. "Me, too!" she laughed.
I think you're all going to like Liza, which seems to be pronounced "Lisa."
Can't wait to see the episode all cut together;
Hal (we bonded) asked me about a line in the script, but I advised that
since I'm a true Diva, I only paid attention to my part. Dennis filled us in
about the scene and I think it will be a hoot, so don't miss it!
Just another day at the office. Not. Best, Harriet
