重點是最後一段的最後一段 Wow! Keith Washington brings passion, honesty and sincerity to his music. He combines all the elements of traditional soul singing with a contemporary approach. Sexy, sensitive, suave, he captivates female audiences across the country with his smooth delivery, while verbalizing the sentiments of male listeners through the lyrics of his songs. Keith Washington brings a wealth of experience to his music as a chart-topping recording artist and dynamic performer. A native of Detroit, home of many legendary stars, Keith was first “discovered” by family members who overheard him singing to a James Brown record when he was just six years old. His obvious vocal skill brought him his first gig, performing on a show in Canada with a then-unknown Brenda Russell and appearances on a local Detroit TV Program. The winner of numerous talent shows as a member of various local groups during his teens, Keith Washington began his professional career in earnest when he began touring with Detroit-based R&B favorites, The Dramatics. When the group’s producer Don Davis heard him, he invited Keith to hang out at United Sound, one of the city’s top studios and after doing a vocal session for the funk king George Clinton on a Funkadelic record, Keith had no doubt about his career path: “Doing what I loved and getting paid for it, too? Hey, then I knew music was (the right thing) for me.” Keith then went on to work with various producers such as BabyFace & L.A Reid, Stevie Wonder, George Duke, Gerald Levert and various others. Among the up-and-coming ballad stylists in the 90’s urban contemporary generation, Keith Washington rode to fame with his 1991 LP “Make Time For Love” which was co-produced by Quincy Jones. The first single of this LP, “ Kissing You” was an R&B smash. “Kissing You” later was heard as background music on the NBC Soap Opera, General Hospital and resulted in Keith’s acting debut as a regular character on the NBC Soap Opera. Keith made cameo appearances in the Martin Lawrence Show and Poetic Justice. Washington issued the follow-up LP “You Make It Easy” in 1993 and after a lengthy absence; he resurfaced in 1998 with KW. Today Keith plays Marvin Gaye in “My Brother Marvin Gaye” Theater Production which is currently touring in cities throughout the United States.
