繼1973年的重要專輯《The Mack》之後，專唱流行靈魂樂的Willie Hutch於1975年推
出新專輯《Mark of the Beast》。身為Michael Jackson與Smokey Robinson歌曲製作人
的Willie Hutch，自己的歌曲當然也不含糊，〈Life's No Fun Living in the Ghetto〉
就是一首容易聆聽的好作品，針對「Ghetto」的莞爾辯證。
出身南方的女歌手Doris Duke重新翻唱Marlena Shaw的〈Woman of the Ghetto〉，收
錄在她的第二張專輯《Woman》之中。有別於原曲的那股個性，Doris Duke的詮釋倒是有
一番草根味。
