該年，Camden唱片將三張Gil Scott-Heron早期經典專輯──1970年的《Small Talk
at 125th and Lenox》、1971年的《Pieces of a Man》與1972年的《Free Will》，搭
成一張合輯《Ghetto Style》，其中的〈The Get out of the Ghetto Blues〉與〈Sex
Education: Ghetto Style〉兩首單曲收錄在《Free Will》原始版本之中。Gil
Scott-Heron的音樂難以界定，個人形象卻很強烈；他是反動的代表，時至今日仍是。
