Just remember the crusades, the burning of witches, the conspiracies from the Vatican etc. Other religions do not have this special attitude like "you have to be a member of our religion" - they are more tolerant - even if some western christianized countries got the attitude (after a long time). I can imagine that the hate against Islam will grow in the future, because it's extreme "representatives" (I mean the fundamentalists) do behave crazy... Black Metal is not just against Christianity, but like manticore wrote before basically against it. Meads of Asphodel (although I don't listen to the band) for example insults every god(des) they know... Other religions are not more tolerant. Gandhi were shot by an hindu when he reformed the religious system of casts, which is officially illegal but still remains. Buddhism is such a religion that one who would sing "Buddha burns in Hell" would looks like a jerk (err... still not a bad idea :huhhh: ) In France, we had a famous singer named Veronique Samson who wrote a song saying "Allah, what's the point for you to have a name?" and pointing the misuse of religion in policy, intolerance and so on. She was threatened to death and finally had to apologize publicly because of muslim authorities pressure. If one tries to attack judaism, he will be sued for antisemitism. However, there is not much we can be blamed on the matter of belief. Actually we never tried to convert others since Josue times (so says the Book). :huhhh: It is easier to split on christianity because: 1. a christian will always hold the right chick when you hurt its left. 2. Christian power is too weak to fight back like muslim extremists usually do.
