來自英國的死團Ancient Ascendant
2011發行第一張專輯The Grim Awakening
在一個相當小的廠牌Siege of Amida Records，當時並未受到太多注目
如今換到中大型廠牌之一的Candlelight Records下面
在今年發行第二張專輯Echoes and Cinder
曲風遊走於Opeth/Witherscpae風格的Progressive Death之間
在沉穩的吉他riff以及solo間自由轉換
旋律流暢的吉他聲線真的是整張專輯的亮點
雖然是Progressive Death，但主唱聲線卻比較偏向Blackend Death的唱腔
精采萬分的專輯! 今年的注目盤!
