The beggarly old man was sick and infirm He was standing alone on the road Miserable angel was visiting him Someone was crucified the day before 一個看似乞丐的老人體弱多病自己一個人站在路旁痛苦的天使來到他的面前某個人在幾天前被釘死於十字架上(註1) 註1: 代表耶穌受罪被釘死在十字架上一事 They were talking for a long time And in tears they were walking to the sky And the holy son who brings no crime Came down carefully in the night 他們談了很長一段時間含著淚並且走向天空然而沒有罪的神聖之子在那個夜晚緩緩地降臨 He said then: he will return But now he must fly into the sky At last He said, they were listening taciturn Everybody will be saved by the light 接著祂說: 祂將會回到世上但是現在祂必須回去最後祂說: 他們正悄悄地聽著世上的所有人將會被神聖之光救贖(註2) 註2: 耶穌替世人贖罪被釘死於十字架上死後三天復活復活後經過40天耶穌升天並預言當祂再臨時就是世人被救贖的時候 The son came back soon and was glad He had come but his father was sad The chosen people offended his child The Great Creator was silent 神聖之子帶著喜樂迅速歸來但祂的父親卻非常沮喪被選中的人們冒犯了祂的孩子偉大的造物主沉默不語(註3) 註3: The chosen people代表被上帝選中的以色列人耶穌雖然完成祂的使命歸來但因為選中的人竟然同時也是害耶穌被釘死的人 (從猶大的出賣到猶太人的嫉妒) 所以上帝沉默 And the angels were crying in scare In embrace of depressive smell Mighty father was thinking in care And devil was loathing in hell 天使哭泣時伴隨著恐懼在壓抑的氛圍中互相擁抱強大的天父仔細地盤算著然而地獄中的魔鬼正極度厭惡(註4) 註4: 耶穌升天時戰勝了魔鬼 Mountains of God's Depression rising up from the Earth Master of Passion is prepared for his birth Mountains of God's Depression rising into Heavens 神的壓抑從世上冉冉升起主人的受難是為了祂的誕生所準備神的壓抑冉冉地升起直到進入天堂(註5) 註5: 耶穌的誕生的目的是讓世人的罪被赦免所以耶穌從出生就已經註定要被釘死山上象徵與神最近的距離我這邊沒有翻出來因為我覺得這裡的mountains是一個象徵結語: 當一開始看到這首歌名其實就已經被吸引了 Dominia也因為蒙上了一層宗教色彩而顯得神秘歌曲的旋律優美及其意境之深我就不再提希望大家會喜歡「And if, after listening to our works a person living an animal life suddenly realizes they're not just a piece of flesh processing food into shit, well ... the goal is reached.」 by DOMINIA -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 140.112.218.16 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/RockMetal/M.1427223533.A.275.html
