[翻譯] Epica - The Quantum Enigma

之前翻了Nightwish - The Greatest Show on Earth之後，有人建議我來翻這首。 Epica的歌詞常常用到歐陸哲學的觀點，所以有幾句歌詞意義不明，若有強者肯請指點。有些句子有押韻或是音節數一致的，我盡力照翻，但語法和用詞就比較怪一點。歌詞看起來是用了薛丁格的貓、波粒二象性、觀察者效應等概念，我也不是很熟，大概的意思是如果去觀察，機率就會變成事件，而且觀察本身會影響結果；但是如果不去觀察，就不會知道真相。這應該是用來類比我們對科學的態度：如果不去研究科學，而執著在宗教狂熱的自我催眠中，那永遠不會找到真理；但是一旦去研究了，舊有的理論也可能全部被推翻。 ----- Visum commutamus 我等易換觀點： Nihil certum 無一準確； Qui observat 觀察之人， visi pars est 亦被觀察。 The quantum enigma 量子難題 All your laws and the assumptions, leave them all behind 你的所有定理和假設都要置之腦後 There's no grounds for them right here where time can't go 在這時間不動之處它們無用武之地 If we can't move on and keep all leaning on the past 如果我們不能繼續向前而執著往事 we will regret we can't get what we wish for 我們會後悔我們無法得到想要的 New perspective keep us inspired 新的觀點刺激靈感 The quantum enigma 量子難題 -- All shadows and illusions we tend to believe 所有我們容易相信的殘影和幻覺 are creations of our own deceiving mind 都是我們那欺騙人的知覺所建造 If we can't let go and keep chasing satisfying needs 如果我們不能放下而繼續追求感官的滿足 we will not get how to forget our sapience 我們不會明白怎麼忘記我們的智慧（副） New perceptions keep us inspired 新的觀點刺激靈感 Ingenuity is required 創造力必須充滿 The quantum enigma 量子難題（這句第一次跳過） When we will look around and see 當我們四處打量 We will affect the energy 我們就會影響能量 When we observe by any means 當我們用任何方式觀察 We will create reality 我們便造就了現狀 We will not find if we don't seek 我們不追尋，就不會找到 We will not know if we don't peek 我們不去看，就不會知道 We cannot do if we don't be 我們不先接受，就不能更進一步 Facing our deadlock now 面對我們現在的死結 This is our quantum enigma 這是我們的量子難題 We'll ignite the fire 我們將火點起 That burns under the rain 它能在雨中燒焚 All that we desire 我們只希冀 Is to find our source again 能找回我們的根 The meaning of life 生命的意義 All dreamscapes and inventions we tend to believe 所有我們容易相信的夢境和發想 Are creations of our own deceiving mind 都是我們那欺騙人的知覺所建造 If we can't let go and keep chasing satisfying needs 如果我們不能放下而繼續追求感官的滿足 We will forget how to retrieve true wisdom 我們會忘了如何追尋真理（副） Without a voice the soul is invisible in time and space 少了聲音，靈魂在時空中神隱 -- Omne est vigor 一切為能量，（vigor是力量，但照文意應該是指能量） Sentimus eum 我等若觸之， Sicut concretum 其作堅固物。（歌詞唱成sicit是錯的，拉丁文只有sicut） Vigor concrescit 能量化為物， Observatione 即在觀察之時。 Vita est mare 生命乃 infinitarum facultatum 無盡機緣之汪洋 Si quae emergant opperiens 若是期待將出現之物 Quod inspicimus adipiscemur 我等即得所觀察之物 Each new discovery 每當有新發現 that we acclaim 能讓我們稱好 brings us much closer 都讓我們更進一步 to reach our aim 靠近我們的目標 So we will finally see 我們總算會看清 All of the universe 整個宇宙 exists by being observed 是觀察時才存在 expanding every day 每天都在擴張 -- As we reach further 當我們進步 let's take this chance to carry on 把握機會繼續向前 We will unravel mysteries 我們能夠揭開迷底 and take the challenge as it comes 接受每一個新挑戰 We will exceed our boundaries 我們能夠超越邊際 Let's use this chance to end this strife 把握機會結束爭論 Obliterate anomalies 撤底粉碎異象神秘 Reveal the myths surrounding life 揭開生命周遭疑問 We will decipher secrecies 我們能夠解開秘密（副） We cannot find if we do not seek 我們不追尋，就不會找到 With our confined capacity 以我們有限的能力 Reveal all mysteries 揭開所有懸疑 Quantum enigma 量子難題 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 75.177.138.251 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/RockMetal/M.1429304069.A.DEE.html ※ 編輯: DJYeh (75.177.138.251), 04/18/2015 04:54:47
