The Professional Latin USA champions Slavik Kryklyvyy and Karina Smirnoff
decided to terminate their partnership. Although there were such rumours
before, this time it seems to be definitely true!
Since they started together, some four years ago, they were very successfull,
winning several prestigious professional events such as the Imperial in
October 2001 and 2003, Open World Cup in Irvine, USA two years ago,
Dutch Open, UK Open.... They were second in numerous events, including
Blackpool last year and this year. See all of Slavik and Karina results
we hold in our database.
The news of split comes as a huge dissapointment for hundreds of fans of
this charismatic couple. But everybody, we are sure, wishes both of them
success in the future and we all hope that we will see them again on the
floor, perhaps with other dancing partners.
