He is interested in the relationship between sound and scenery, as well as the various ways people perceive past, present, and future through the cultural and religious lenses of different areas of the world. It means that is thinking the relationship of between nature and artificiality, past and present, sound and vision. His production and works that are even while under the influence of conceptual art present perceptual experiences to audience by recording environment sound (Field Recording), moving and staying in various places, and process that is developing into artworks from materials by those research. Because he thinks it's important that we feel the contemporary world we live with fluxes of complex experience consisted of conceptual thinking, recognition and biotic, psychological sensibility. He believes that these senses will be our guide to live in affluence in the future. Duo performances with Hideki Umezawa at Futarri, Tokyo, Japan (2017), at the World Listening Day, Kanagawa, Japan (2017) and "0°C" at blanClass, Kanagawa, Japan (2016). --- ● 梅沢英樹 Hideki Umezawa (JP) soundcloud.com/hideki-umezawa 生於西元1986年,為日本藝術家暨作曲家,畢業於東京藝術大學跨媒材藝術碩士。作為一 名作曲家,英樹在2015年法國Luc Ferrari國際比賽中獲得Presque Rien首獎以及2015年 日本當代電腦音樂會ASCM116獎項;作品被選列於法國Banc d’essai 2015暨Ina-GRM 2017法國當代先鋒電子音樂藝術音樂會中演出;亦獲得2017年義大利Luigi Russolo獎。 他同時也在世界各地發行了10張專輯,包含與藝術家原摩利彦(藝術團體Dumb Type)合 作的作品。英樹正與摩利彦共同合作一項將於2017年11月展出的時尚展覽。他與Franç ois Baschet的雕塑作品合作的多聲道音樂會將在2017年12月16日於東京藝術大學舉行。 Hideki Umezawa (b.1986) is Japanese artist / composer. MFA, Inter-media Art at Tokyo University of the Arts. As a composer, he got 1st prize at Luc Ferrari’s international competition - Presque Rien Prize 2015 (France), Contemporary Computer Music Concert 2015 (Japan), and his works are selected for Banc d’essai 2015 & 2017 (Ina-GRM, France), Luigi Russolo Award 2017 (Italy). He also released 10 CDs from all over the world, including collaboration works with Marihiko Hara (Dumb Type). Now he is working on new collaborative work with Marihiko for the fashion exhibition, which will be held in Nov, 2017. His new multi-channel concert with François Baschet’s sculpture will be held in 16 Dec, 2017 at Tokyo University of the Arts. --- ● 洪梓倪 Tzu Ni www.iitzunii.com 作品主要聚焦於空間裝置與聲音裝置,藉由裝置探討空間中光線建構與聲音身體交互接合 的關係與環境。 空間於聲音,聲音於身體,身體於機器,機器於儀式,儀式於詩,詩於空間。 試圖在現今社會狀態充滿無意義的勞動之中,建構一個環繞的場景/空間讓聽者進入空幻 的狀態把自身與外界隔絕,在當下深切感知思緒與此在。 Space and sound, sound and body, body and machine, machine and ritual, ritual and poetry, poetry and space. In a social landscape filled to the brim with busy work, Hung Tzu-Ni seeks to create a setting or an environment where a listener or viewer might enter into a dream state, momentarily isolated from the outer world, and in that space be able to more intensely perceive one’s frame of mind & body. Her installations explore the reciprocal relation formed between light as it is constructed and sound as it is embodied in a space, as well as the environments where they are interactively engaged. --- ● 東加奈子 Kanako Azuma (JP) kanakoazuma.com 1991年生於日本愛媛縣,目前居住於東京。加奈子的藝術創作探索不同的媒材,包括攝影 、音樂與行為藝術,但電影/錄像仍是她主要的創作核心。過去重要的展覽包括:2017第 七屆莫斯科當代藝術雙年展;2017東京、巴黎、阿姆斯特丹BEYOND 2020日本攝影師展覽 #4;2016印度亞洲短片與紀錄片影展等。 Born in Ehime, Japan in 1991, based in Tokyo, Japan. Kanako explores the various fields of art, including photography, music and performance art, while film remains at the core of her practice. Past exhibitions include: 7th MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL BIENNALE OF CONTEMPORARY ART, 2017, Moscow. BEYOND 2020 by Japanese Photographers #4, 2017, Tokyo, Paris and Amsterdam, ALPAVIRAMA: Asian Short & Documentary Film Festival: Focus on Asia Section, 2016, India. --- ● 瑪麗安娜.畢斯提 Mariana Bisti (GR) www.marianabisti.com 1981生於希臘,目前往返於倫敦及雅典兩地工作及居住。她曾在希臘帕特雷理工教育學院 專攻建築修復與活化。2005年畢業後,便持續與NC-MP Architects合作,並在2008年以第 一名的成績考進雅典理工大學建築學系,4年後完成了建築工程學士學位。2013年她的論 文「metaRedesigning Klaftmonos Square」獲得GREAT 2013希臘建築人才獎。同年,在 建築知識的背景下她開始攻讀建築攝影,從此走上攝影師的專業道路。2013年她受希臘比 雷埃夫斯港和雅典雙年展聘為攝影師;2014年受邀ArtAthina雅典國際當代藝術博覽會拍 攝;同年獲得倫敦大學學院(UCL)斯萊德藝術學院(Slade School of Fine Art)藝術 創作碩士,並因優異成績獲得威廉.孔德斯居姆獎。她的藝術實踐涵蓋多個領域,包括錄 像、攝影、公共空間介入、表演和裝置。近三年來她在倫敦(Velorose畫廊、Crypt畫廊 )、布萊頓(Phoenix Brighton畫廊)、里斯本(Dona Laura)、香港(浸會大學視覺藝 術學院)和雅典(T.A.F.)參與展演活動。2017年2月她曾在香港浸會大學視覺藝術院駐 村3個月。她的8分鐘雙聲道空拍錄像作品〈穩定繁榮〉獲得The Guardian、Dezeen與 Archdaily等媒體好評。 Born in Greece, 1981. Lives and works between London and Athens. Mariana studied Building Restoration and Renovation (TEI Patras, 2005) and Archiectural Engineering (BA/MSc, NTUA 2012). In 2014 she moved to London to pursue a MFA in Fine Art Media at the Slade School of Fine Art, where she earned her degree with distinction and received the UCL Dean’s List Award and the William Coldstream Prize for outstanding academic achievement (2016). Her art practice ranges across different media, including video, photography, public interventions, performances and installation. It can be described as an exploration of the contours of meaning and identities, through the processes of their equivocal formations and contingent representations. Traces, marks, manifestations of temporal presence are recorded and manipulated in an attempt to investigate the ubiquitous absence of certainty in our contemporary world. Implications of political and social issues are juxtaposed with solid forms and concrete spatial references, informing each other of the current human condition and its contextual ambiguities. Combining politics with aesthetics and forms has laid the ground for a practice that wishes to investigate its own limits between experience and knowledge.
