Celine Dion received an Diamond Award certifying her
as the best-selling female artist ever.
According to IFPI, Celine Dion sold,
from 1987 to August 31, 2004, a great total of 174,436,400 albums
around the world. The sales of her first twelve albums, in French,
recorded before the signing of her contract with Sony,
in 1987, do not even appear on the impressive bill.
