The new Eminem album could feature a guest star appearance from Sir
Elton John, according to reports.
The pair famously shared a stage at the Grammy Awards in 2001 and have been
linked with a new collaboration.
Both are understood to have been in the same studio in Detroit last October,
prompting the speculation.
Eminem's new album, "Relapse", features a string of other big name hook-ups
and is due for release later this year.
The news of a possible meeting was leaked by a local source, who explained:
"No one realised the significance, though the Detroit Free Press did mention
that Elton had been in town.
"Anything they produce will be total dope: some of Em's biggest records
have been collaborations with mainstream pop stars - Dido on 'Stan',
for example - and they really don't come much bigger, or more mainstream,
than the man with the red piano", said the source.
"Relapse", which was originally due for release at the end of 2008, is now
scheduled to come out in March.
