朋友們好，
2011年8月27日週六，晚間8:00-10:00，將由
爵士吉他手Cjer莊淩傑與美籍爵士吉他手Paul Simon
以四重奏編制為朋友們帶來40~50年代經典爵士樂曲目，
做為爵處逢聲系列六的主題藝文演出。
十分歡迎喜歡爵士吉他演奏與現場演出的朋友們。

Paul Simon - Guitarist
Musical education:
Arts Magnet high school (Dallas, Texas) graduate
* Member of the award winning Arts Magnet jazz combo.
* Studied jazz guitar with Chuck Pangburn
* Won Downbeat magazine’s Debee award for outstanding
jazz instrumentalist - June 1984
U.S. Army band 1984-87
* Studied jazz guitar with Bob Roetker at the United States armed
forces music school.
* Guitarist for 2nd Armored Division Band
Studied Music at the University of North Texas (Denton, Texas)
* Played in the jazz lab bands
* Studied jazz guitar, music sight-reading, and improvisation with
Jack Peterson.
Musical experience:
Teaching:
* I have taught private guitar lessons to numerous guitar students (ages 7-35).
* Students learned music sight-reading, chords, playing numerous songs,
and improvisation.
Playing:
I have played numerous restaurants, clubs, hotels, coffee houses,
and private parties.
Influences:
Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Steve Vai, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis,
John Coltrane
