MYLO是我昨天在實驗室唸書時偷閒瀏覽到的藝人 (感謝Galaxie大大的推薦) 很久沒挖掘新電子藝人的我對於試聽時剛放下去的valley of the dolls和sunworshipper很有感覺令人想到的是一派法式down-tempo/lounge的藝人如zero 7 但是MYLO不只是如此再來聽到musclecar這般復古synth舞曲以及drop the pressure這樣融合funk/disco的有趣作品才了解原來這樣的東西才是他的重點! 有興趣聽他那首專輯同名曲Destroy Rock & Roll的朋友們可以從單曲LP試聽 MYLO有趣地取樣了電吉他的riff搭配disco 背景的人聲不斷朗誦著本世紀具影響力的搖滾歌手的名字很多玩電子樂的藝人喜歡宣告搖滾樂的發展已到末路即使大部分玩電子的樂手都是從搖滾樂起家 ^^"" 本日推薦的sunworshipper有趣之處在於中間出現的那一段話: "..well, this just solved all of my problems to get out of drugs.. I've had enough of that.. had enough of the college.. I had the earning of money.. and.. and the material trip..
