◎心得◎ wild beasts幾個月前剛發了第三張專輯smother 昨天逛唱片行發現買的到博客來也有無聊來推薦一下 wild beasts是英國團有兩個vocal 上一張two dancers頗受好評我也是因為two dancers注意到這個團裡面有一堆好聽而且十分耐聽的歌耐聽就是我愛上這個團最大的原因隨著唱片越買越多一直翻出來聽的少之又少而two dancers是其中之一另一個也十分耐聽的愛團是the national 相較之下 the national 低沉內爆 wild beasts 行雲流水但兩團都很會營造氣氛新專輯smother初聽其實不太喜歡沒有two dances裡面hooting and howling、this is our lot、the fun powder plot 等一聽就十分喜歡的單曲但後來覺得smother其實本質上沒有改變他們一樣朝著two dances的方向前進而現在感覺更曖昧、氤氳、甚至性感編曲常充滿令人驚喜的細節尤其是末曲 End come too soon 篤定是我今年最喜歡的結尾曲幫smother作一個滿分的收尾側標上面說「團員表示，Talk Talk、Beach House、Caribou與Oneohtrix Point Never 等樂隊，皆對他們的創作產生若干影響。」也有人說主唱之一Hayden Thorpe的嗓音有幾分神似Antony Hegarty 如果喜歡以上這些音樂人推薦也來聽聽wild beasts -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.160.36.236 ※ 編輯: sigur 來自: 118.160.36.236 (06/27 15:44)
