In what appears to be a bizarre case of life imitating art, police from Lee Country Sheriff’s Office raided Ryan Lee Carroll's Fort Myers home and uncovered an elaborate operation in the garage to manufacture the synthetic marijuana known as "spice". "Detectives discovered large rubber bins containing by-products of the substance, shelves full of containers with thousands of packages of finished product and hundreds of uncashed money orders totalling thousands of dollars, ” said a report on the sheriff’s website. “Ironically, Ryan Lee Carroll was a contest winner for the hit TV series Breaking Bad.” As well as the sophisticated drug lab they also found a souvenir Hazmat suit signed by Breaking Bad cast members. The suit was similar to the one worn by Walter White, the former high school teacher in the TV show who amasses a fortune by manufacturing a potent variety of methamphetamine.
