http://0rz.tw/484S6 根據確實的報導指出位在紐約布朗克斯Sedgwick街1520號大樓被開發商Mark Karasick以七百萬美元買下為什麼說這裡是Hip Hop的發源地主要就是因為在1973年8月11日 DJ Kool Herc在這裡與他的姐姐辦了一場PARTY (不要跟我伸姐姐的圖我沒有) 從此之後Hip Hop文化就蓬勃發展了起來而房內的房客也希望可以買下該房以保留文化財產同時也用來防止Mark Karasick會提高租金逼他們搬走而Kool Herc認為在Hip Hop圈中沒人願意關心此事感到失望 The “birthplace of hip-hop,” the apartment complex at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue in the Bronx, New York, was sold last week to a real estate developer for $7 million. Kool Herc and his sister made the address famous by hosting parties at the building starting in 1973. These parties are commonly referred to as where hip-hop was born. Herc himself along with the building’s current tenants attempted to both buy the property and have it declared a landmark, but developer Mark Karasick outbid them with the $7 million figure. Thus, the two-year battle over the property ends with tenants worried their rents will increase so much that they’ll be forced out of the building.
