MBC to air part 2 of Psy’s documentary

MBC is preparing for the second part of Psy‘s documentary.
MBC revealed, “We’re planning part 2 of the documentary that focuses on the
popularity of Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style‘. We’re still thinking about the
details of the direction. The 1st part dealt with why ‘Gangnam Style’ was
so popular, and we’re thinking the 2nd part will deal with the song as a
cultural product and how the song has affected our society.”
The broadcast network aired the first part of Psy’s documentary, titled ‘
MBC Special – Psy Go, Right now is Gangnam Style~!‘, on the 21st. The
documentary defeated competing programs in the same slot in viewer ratings
with an 8.6%.

The staff is planning to air the second part of the documentary on November
16 KST.
