An actor leaves. When Sasha Alexander asked to leave NCIS, creator Donald
Bellisario rewrote the season finale, weaving the death of her character,
agent Kate Todd, into a story about a terrorist hunting down her colleague,
Leroy Gibbs. Bellisario sees possibility: "an opportunity to bring in a new
character and start a new dynamic."

製作人DONALD BELLISARIO 說，ALEXANDER請辭這齣極耗體力的影集，她決定不要留在這
齣很有可能持續演出許多季的劇碼裡。「她到最後仍表現出極為敬業的態度。」
BELLISARIO 說。他正在尋找一名設定出生國外的女性角色。
