Reality TV Games Interview (EXCLUSIVE) with ANTM 12 Winner Teyona, Part 1 of 2 Hi everybody! Teyona answered some questions for Reality TV Games. I just rece ived them and decided to post the responses right away, without formatting. I will clean it up later. 1. Why and how did you come to be cast on Top Model? Did you have previous mod eling experience? I auditioned for Americas Next top model at Clementon Park, it was a open cast ing call. The audition was totally spur of the moment and I was actually think ing about stopping from modeling. I do have previous modeling experience. 2. Tell us a little about your family and friends. My immediate family consist of my mom, brother, niece, and my mom's fianc?. My brother is 9 months older than me and he is my baby. I adore my mom and niece! 3. Do you live in New Jersey or Maryland? You said that you come from the coun try, what do you mean by that? If some Reality TV Gamers came to visit, what w ould we do? I actually live in Elkton, Maryland, but was born in Woodstown, New Jersey. New Jersey is where I'm from and where all my roots are. Woodstown is very country . It's cornfields, chickens, ducks, and all that crazy stuff. If someone was to visit me I would probably take you riding on a 4 wheeler. 4. What is a loss prevention specialist? Loss prevention for the company I work for is basically a fraud analyst. I hand le fraudulent accounts. 5. How did you like living in the Top Model house? How did you spend your time there? How did you like New York and Brazil? Living in the Top Model house was a very different experience to say so the le ast. But it was a great experience. Most of the time I was either playing arou nd with Aminat or Nijah or just relaxing. New York was very cold but it was gre at to be on the Upper East Side; ans words really can't explain how nice Brazil was. I so wanna go back. 6. What was your initial reaction to your makeover? Did your feelings change? D id you give your second weave a name, or did you keep the name Fifi? My makeover, it was disgusting and I hated it but it was what they have me so I kept my mouth closed and left it at that. When we went to panel and Tyra said I hair to get a new one I was excited. My second weave was named Lalanie, she w as more exotic! 7. How did your family and friends react to your Top Model "character?" To be honest I really don't think they saw a character. I now they noticed that they edited me to be a lot quieter but other than that they loved everything. 8. On more than one occasion, the judges commented on your personal style. How would you describe your personal style? You know what's crazy, I have great personal style. Before I left for the show I was so in shock of packing that all I packed was jeans and t-shirts! Looking back it was a dumb move but oh well it's done. But my style is very chic or at sometimes can be very urban. 9. In a few words, what pops in your mind: Jay Manuel: My boo, I loved him; Jay Alexander: Exaggerated, but 100% honest; Paulina: Very tough crowd; Nigel: brings the best out of people; Tyra: Mommy. 10. What type of modeling appeals to you - runway, high fashion editorial, cata log, commercial, etc.? Are there designers would you love to work for in the fu ture OR what is your dream modeling job? I love high fashion and editorial stuff! Those two are my passions. I would lov e to do shows for Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors, Karl Lagerfield, and DSquared.
