現在年輕的小朋友可能已經滿少人認識他了
不過當我高中的時候，他那時大膽出櫃，讓我超級欣賞的
剛才看到他的死訊，心裡還滿難過的…
Boyzone’s Stephen Gately Dead at 33

Stephen Gately, the 33-year-old lead singer of Irish boy band Boyzone, died
on Saturday (October 10) on the Spanish island of Majorca, where he was
vacationing with his husband Andrew Cowles (inset).
According to UK’s NOTW, “the gay singer’s coming out ten years ago caused
a sensation in the pop music world. .. He married [Cowles] in a civil union
in March 2006. His manager Louis Walsh was unaware of Stephen’s sexuality
when he selected him for the band and has said that, had he known, he would
have thought twice before picking him, citing that “‘It wasn’t cool then
to have a gay guy in a band.’”
