耳朵，雙手，腦袋，在2007年上半年幾乎不管用。也不是真的沒用，或許是必須要處理的事太多，面對比起潮水還洶湧的、跨越好幾個十年的歌曲感到一陣無力；好比那惱人的睡眠，每每在夜半成為恐怖的負荷。進入新的世紀，黑人音樂開始混亂，因為HipHop強力的介入所有曲式，所以排行榜已經沒有所謂的正確參考價值。以前各種樂種當道，其實那樣的日子比較多元，檯面上的東西真的很吸引人，那時候的美國真的還是個大熔爐時代，不像近十年，幾乎所有的人事物都已經制式化，當紅的竟然都是一些狗皮倒灶的怪物，真正有實力、值得一書的，卻怎樣都無法從參差不齊的環境中脫出。 R&B已經不R&B了，Jazz也已經變成歷史名詞，Soul呢？現代人不談Soul，因為Soul都賣給了梅菲斯特。我以前說過，黑人不可能就被0與1的狂潮給淹沒，他們絕對有能力從腐朽的枕木中再生出青芽。當我們懷念90年代的美聲，再向前探至80年代的黃金年代，還有70年代的百變多姿，然後再回過頭來，會發現：假如00年代是成立的，這個段落的音樂可能是空白如也。是快速到空白，如同我們現今過的每一天，你很難發現現在發生了什麼事，你只能知道未來會長成怎樣，過去是多麼值得追憶與尋歡；每一天都有太多無須理會的東西阻在時間疏道，偏偏我們又要向前走，怎麼辦？已經很很少人會靜下心，真真正正靜下心，不是譁眾取寵的靜下心，也不是為求名利的靜下心，靜下心來做一件自我證明的事。要證明什麼？證明我並非活在時間裡。我們都需要一點點勇氣。 4hero ft.
