這個雷…應該雷不到任何人吧 (這算是古早雷) 最近都會努力學英文因為想要出去趴趴走XD 看到這個還不錯有問作者可不可以轉 http://blog.hjenglish.com/adrienanna/articles/1214444.html -----------以下是原文，應該會直接被按END XDDDDD-------------- 這將是我寫的美劇解讀筆記中，需要google次數最多的一部，因為台詞中充滿了典故，so it keep me googling always。另外此劇中的粗口也比較多，所以重點放在傳說的蒐集和講解上，只總結比較有特色的口語素材，其他不做贅余。 Supernatural Season01Episode01 1. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ Dean: Okay, all right, we gotta talk. 我要跟你談談。 Sam: Uh, the phone? 為什麼不打電話說呢？ Dean: If I'd have called, would you have picked up? 如果我打電話的話，你會接嗎? └────────────────────────────────┘ ——積累最後一句虛擬語氣。從句if had done+主句would have done表示和過去事實相反。 2. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ I love the Smurfs. You know I gotta tell you, you are completely out of my brother's league. └────────────────────────────────┘ ——out of one's league 由於太好使別人配不上，這句是說，我喜歡你衣服上的藍精靈（The Smurfs）,不得不說，我弟弟配不上你。 3. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ I mean you can't just break in, in the middle of the night, and expect me to hit the road with you. └────────────────────────────────┘ ——hit the road with sb和誰一起上路,離開去旅行。這句說，我的意思是說，你不能就這麼大半夜闖進來，並且還想要我和你一起上路。 4. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ I swore I was done hunting for good. └────────────────────────────────┘ ——be/ have done with /doing sth for good 再也不做什麼了 /done with 完畢/for good永久的 5. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ It was dad who said if I was gonna go, I should stay gone. And that's what I'm doing. └────────────────────────────────┘ ——It was sb who引導的強調句，表示正是dad說的 ——if +should引導的真實條件句 ——這句話的時態很複雜，首先是爸爸過去說過，用said；其次是我過去想要走, 所以用was going to go；最後是一般現在時和現在進行時組成的賓語從句，用is what I am doing。 6. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ It's a law-school interview, and it's my whole future on a plate. └────────────────────────────────┘ ——on a plate現成的，擺在眼前的。那是一個法律學校的面試，我的未來就擺在眼前（暗示我沒有理由不去面試） 7. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ Sam: No thanks. So how'd you pay for that stuff? You and dad still running credit card scams? Dean: Yeah well…hunting ain't exactly a pro-ball career. Besides, all we do is apply, it's not our fault they send us the cards. Sam: Yeah and what names did you write on the application this time? └────────────────────────────────┘ ——兄弟之間的搞笑對話揭示了捉鬼業者的生財之道， running credit card scams，從信用卡上耍詐。具體怎麼操作呢？看對話的後兩句，all we do is apply, it's not our fault they send us the cards 這不是我們的錯，我們只負責申請，是銀行自己把信用卡寄給我們的； what names did you write on the application this time? 這次你在申請表上寫了誰的名字？真相大白了吧！ ——pro-ball career 像職業籃球那樣體面的工作 8. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ House rules, Sammy. Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole. └────────────────────────────────┘ 這句話儼然一經成了影視格言，google了一下，隨處可見的引用。可惜典故還是不明白，等待高人解答。總之就是司機選聽什麼音樂，別人別插嘴，這是家訓。 9.「溫氏捉鬼理論」初級班課程 ┌────────────────────────────────┐ Actually, it means just the opposite. A pentagram is protection against evil, really powerful. I mean, if you believe in that kind of thing. └────────────────────────────────┘ ——mean opposite意思相反，這裡指，女孩原本以為這個圖案是邪惡的意思。 ——講述了一個闢邪方法，就是圓圈和五角星組成的圖案，信則靈。（以後的片子裡經常出現）http://tinyurl.com/5pxfk2 (圖片) ┌────────────────────────────────┐ -Okay, thank you 「Unsolved Mysteries」. └────────────────────────────────┘ ——說他是好像在主持未知神秘現象節目一樣，是挖苦sam一本正經的樣子。 10. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ No chick flick moments. └────────────────────────────────┘ ——別和我玩煽情，別來動情時刻。 Chick flick是俚語，表示女性觀眾為主的電影，題材多為愛情，flick的名詞有電影的意思；男性觀眾為主的電影，可以叫做blockbuster，buster是破壞者的意思。 11. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ a whole lot of satanic mumbo jumbo └────────────────────────────────┘ ——一大堆邪惡巫術。Satanic惡魔的, 邪惡的，因為satan是撒旦的意思；mumbo jumbo是貶義詞，表示莫名其妙的話，巫術之類的。當然mumbo 和jumbo 本身也有自己的意思，這種組合很可能是和teeny tiny（表示微小）相似，是為了押韻而形成的。 12. ┌────────────────────────────────┐ a local legend—— a woman in white └────────────────────────────────┘ A woman in white, or sometimes a weeping woman, it's a ghost story. Well it's more of a phenomenon really. Um, they're spirits（靈魂）. They've been sited for hundreds of years, dozens of places; in Hawaii and Mexico, lately in Arizona and Indiana. All these are different women, you understand. But all share the same story. You see, when they were alive, their husbands were unfaithful to them. And these women, basically suffering from temporary insanity（暫時的精神錯亂）, murdered their children. Then once they realized what they had done, they took their own lives. So now their spirits are cursed, walking back roads, waterways, and if they find an unfaithful man, they kill him, and that man is never seen again. 本段是由對話加工而成，介紹了本劇中出現的第一個美國本土傳說，白衣女鬼(a woman in white)的故事，有時也叫哭泣女鬼（a weeping woman）。白衣女鬼的現象曾經出現於夏威夷和墨西哥，最近多發於亞利桑那州和印第安納州，這些遊魂遊蕩與很多地方，經歷了幾百年。所有這些遊魂生前都有過共同的經歷，那就是，她們的丈夫不忠，於是她們在氣急敗壞之下謀殺了自己的孩子，當她們意識到自己的作為的時候，又悲痛欲絕，只能自殺。謀殺和自殺兩項罪名，在基督教義中，足以構成詛咒的條件。這些遊魂一旦撞見不忠的男人，就會殺了他。顯然在本集中，兄弟二人遭遇的就是這類遊魂中的一個，多年前死於這座橋上的女人的魂魄。破解法：「溫氏捉鬼理論」中級課程 ┌────────────────────────────────┐ Dean: So this is where she drowned her kids. （那麼，這正好是她淹死她孩子們的地點吧。） Sam: That's why she could never go home.
