Fiona Apple 5/7發表五年來的新歌大約從2022年開始, Fiona經常去法院參與旁聽保釋聽證會(她自己估計大約4000件)，她注意到有些黑人婦女經常因為一些沒有逃亡風險的小罪被起訴，卻因為付不出保釋金而在受審前遭到羈押，家裡孩子沒人照顧可能被安置，拖太久的話工作也會丟掉，然後沒有收入整個狀況就雪上加霜，租屋處可能也會被驅逐，在她們受審之前，生活就會被迫進入不幸的惡性循環，她認為家庭是社區/社會的基本單位，而媽媽則是家庭的基石，媽媽不在，家庭也就分崩離析了，這次創作的新歌，就是想要幫助為這些婦女籌保費和支援的非營利機構"Free Black Mamas DMV"募款，和號召更多外界關注。 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ki1nvcNbYH8
