6/17號星期五晚上七點，一場非凡的合唱音樂將在台南大學雅音樓發聲...。台南頌音合唱團從前就是個水準不錯的合唱團，而現在這個團體不僅維持水準，而且變的更可愛了，指揮萬益嘉(Edgar Macapili)是個菲律賓籍的台灣女婿，卻致力以合唱藝術於讓現代人感受台灣西拉雅族的文化與精神，一句一句唱出對生命的尊重、對土地的熱愛。本次音樂會也柔和獨具各國特色的歌曲，輕盈活潑的民謠、浪漫激情的情歌在頌音合唱團的詮釋之下毫無冷場，更可突顯合唱音樂的迷人之處。以上是我發自內心的感受。在我所接觸的合唱指揮中，萬益嘉老師所指揮的頌音合唱團不以挑戰曲目為目標，而是追求讓觀眾與團員感動的那一剎那，為合聲而感動、為意境而感動、為用心而感動，因此許多的感動與奇蹟發生在頌音。本次音樂會的主題是"歡樂頌讚(CantateDomino)"，共演唱十種語言，其中Mu-rurau ti Vu-bukin (山之聲)是指揮以西拉雅語言所創作的歌曲。頌音合唱團另一個特色就是每次音樂會所演唱的曲目都有萬益嘉老師最新的創作或改編作品。雖然這是篇冗長的音樂會廣告，但篇名卻是"獻給我的摯愛"，因為這是所有團員在音樂會之前的心聲。在繁重課業與工作之餘，每個團員利用抽出的一點點時間長時間所累積起來的成果，我們不僅以合唱洗滌繁重的壓力，也希望以音樂會帶給觀眾一些放鬆、一些振奮，因此誠心的邀請觀眾好友前來聆聽我們的演出。王守誠以下超連結是我們上一場音樂會的錄音: http://myweb.ncku.edu.tw/~u1691114/2004/ 購票請洽: 新樓書房(青年路334號) 古瓏驊書店(長榮路二段55號) 現場也提供購票服務或洽詢頌音合唱團團員以下是指揮創作的背景介紹": This song is about a beautiful place and about a man who greatly love this mountainous place. For a month I was pondering to compose another choral piece to include in June 2005 Siong-im concert. I was certain to employ Siraya motif and text with the purpose of helping this dead language back to life but was not sure about my main theme. Another month had passed and Siong-im concert is quickly approaching. Two weeks before this music first rehearsal I happened to review my brother in law’s video film that features ecological system of Choiu Chen Lin-Kao-pi area. It shows all kinds of birds, night and day insects and animals that inhabit this area some are nearly extinction. So at first I was thinking naming the song “Bird’s Call” but conclusively named it “The Mountains Sing” which I thought better captures the sound and scene of the environment I envisioned. 這首歌是關於一個美麗的地方以及一個非常深愛山林的男人。一個月前我審慎構思創作另一首合唱作品希望供頌音合唱團在2005年夏季音樂會上發表。過去雖致力於專研西拉雅文化的特點及文字，以幫助這個消逝的語言回到生活中，但我不確定要以何為主軸。一個月過去了，頌音的音樂會很快地將要來臨，在這首歌第一次練習的前兩週，我偶然回顧我的妻舅所拍攝新化口埤九層嶺地區的生態錄影帶，裡面出現許多種鳥類，黑夜及白天出沒的昆蟲與動物，但有幾種生物已經瀕臨絕種。所以一開始我想取名為”鳥聲的呼喚”，但最後決定改用”山之聲”，因為”山之聲”能更切題地表達我想像中的聲音與意境。 I remember when we were in the States my wife relaying to me a report back in Taiwan about his brother Wan Chun-beng at one time filming in the neighbor- hood’s farm at dawn, seeing him in the dark, the farmer thought Chun-beng was a thief or a bad stranger out of no good. The farmer has got to do some- thing. Fortunately, as he got closer, he recognized Chun-beng shooting with his camera on night insects before he could give him a strike. Sometimes he would ridiculously stay silent for hours in one place where the special birds dwell so his camera could capture a rare scene no ordinary eyes have observed. Chun-beng does not just artistically videotape and photograph to encourage appreciation of wildlife but notably along with the Wan family and the Tainan Siraya Culture Association has promoted, and rallied round to protect the eco-system of his birthplace. More than anybody, he knows the intricacies of this place. He truly love and care about his mountain birthplace. Above all there is a profound mentality that this place is God-given hence must be treated equally like human life with great value. Thus, the title “The Mountains Sing” is more appropriate because it renders a picture of celebra- tion of the fullness of life not just human life but human in partnership with other life. Here is a song I wish would symbolically remind and assist us to take care of our mother earth. 記得當我在美國時，我妻子（萬淑娟）傳給我一個有關她弟弟萬俊明的報告，俊明曾經在黎明破曉時拍攝附近的農田，農夫以為在黑暗中的身影是賊或是不良意圖的陌生人，於是想要有所行動，很幸運的，在農夫採取行動前，他認出俊明正在使用相機拍攝夜間的昆蟲。有時候俊明會一個人癡癡地待在同一個地方，安靜地等候好幾個小時，只為了用鏡頭捕捉平常不易觀察到的特殊鳥類。他不僅利用藝術攝影及拍照促進人們對野生動物的賞析，更值得一提的是萬氏一家人以及台南西拉雅文化協會聚集起來保護他們土地的生態系統。他比其他人更清楚這個地方的小故事，並真摯地愛護關心這片孕育他成長的山林。我們的土地是神所賜與，必須像重視人類般平等對待。因此”山之聲”這個名稱是更合適的，它描繪一個生命豐榮歡慶的景象，當中的生命不只是人類也包括人類在自然中所有的夥伴。我誠摯地希望這首歌能象徵性地提醒與協助大家關心我們共同的母親”地球”。 -- -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.116.161.111
