Did you know that "One Small Child" was written by a 14 year old that suffered an devastating childhood with an abusive alcoholic father. Yet David Meece was a child prodigy who was a concert pianist by age 10 and a graduate (full scholarship) of the Peabody Conservatory of Music. His earliest happy memories revolved around the piano which afforded him an escape from his miseries.
