Whaddya think? (走到Monica身邊) Monica,你覺得如何啊? : Monica: (welling up) Mm-hmm. (感動累積中)嗯哼 : Ross: Wh- are you welling up? 你--你感動到要爆炸了齁? : Monica: No. 沒有 : Ross: You are, you're welling up. 你有,你感動到要爆炸了 (well up就是情緒累積到某種程度,像井水往上漲.我不知道要怎麼翻比較好) : Monica: Am not! 沒有啦 : Ross: You're gonna be an aunt. 你要當姑姑囉. : Monica: (pushes him and starts to cry) Oh shut up! (把他推開,開始哭) 喔閉嘴啦! : Rachel: (on phone) Hi, Mindy. Hi, it-it's Rachel. : Yeah, I'm fine. I-I saw Barry today. : Oh, yeah, yeah he-he told me. : No, no, it's okay. I hope you two are very happy, : I really do. Oh, oh, and Mind, y'know, : if-if everything works out, : and you guys end up getting married : and having kids- and everything- : I just hope they have his old hairline and your old nose. 哭出來最精準的說法是tearing up. 我看到welling up直覺也是哭出來, 後來想說畢竟不是tearing up那就查清楚一點好了, 才發現welling up是各種情緒湧現都算,不一定是哭泣. 翻譯這個真的可以學到東西.
