Despite reports circulating that the canceled NBC series The Event would be
potentially picked up by SyFy and continued as a mini-series, the network's
executive Craig Engler took to Twitter to announce that this was not true!
He wrote:
"To answer some questions I've been getting, at this time we have no plans to
pick up The Event."
