(((SOMA))) BAND BIO:
(((SOMA))) is a local Taipei, Taiwan cover band that performs current popular
rock music as well as popular songs from the 70's, 80's and 90's. The 4
member band was formed in 2007 and has played numerous venues around the
Taipei area as well as private and corporate parties. Just about all of the
songs they perform can be heard on the current play lists of Western favorite
rock radio stations.
(((SOMA))) DESCRIPTION:
(((SOMA))) audiences love dancing to the high energy hits from Western bands
such as the Doobie Brothers, Santana, Hootie and the Blowfish and Oasis. This
versatile act plays music styles ranging from Classic Rock to Motown, R&B to
funk and blues. SOMA also features hit songs from contemporary artists such
as Maroon 5, No Doubt and more. Bring your dancing shoes!
SOMA focuses on a wide range of music that pulls you onto the dance floor.
The Band is "open" to play music that takes each Client where they want to
go. We tailor our performances to each audience. For a dinner dance, wedding
or special event we can play mellow music first and get your audience rocking
and groovin' later in the evening.
The instrumentation consists of lead/rhythm guitarist, bassist and drummer.
We try to sound just like your favorite songs whether male or female lead
vocals with harmony vocals.
