We have had nearly a million : views, over 25,000 likes on Facebook, and a constant stream of Twitter : conversation all year long. We've gotten press coverage in a gazillion : places, from The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, Out Magazine, The New : York Observer, Fast Company, BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post, Queerty and The : Advocate, Entertainment Weekly, and tons of blogs. And a lot of networks and : advertisers reached out to us to try to be part of it. This is an expensive : and complicated show to make. There's a reason it looks so much better than : most of the other "web series" out there -- it's made for TV. But we couldn't : find anyone to pay for the whole show the way we wanted to make it, without : making it less, well, real... : So in the end, we're still single, and on our own without a network to keep : us going. And we finally remembered to call you... : We've been working very hard on stories and scripts for SEASON 2 and we're : pretty sure you guys want to see it, so we're coming to you and asking for : your help! : Jon, the creator of the show, paid for season one out of his own pocket, and : then borrowed the money to finish it. We sold enough downloads to pay back : the loans and prove that the show has an audience. But it still wasn't enough : to pay for more episodes.
