福爾摩沙合唱團自1994年成立以來，2009年即將邁入第十五個年頭。年度重頭戲是邀請國際級合唱大師，美國最活躍、最傑出的合唱指揮之一，安東‧阿姆斯壯博士（Dr. Anton Armstrong），現任教於St. Olaf College，並擔任全美最負盛名的St. Olaf Choir指揮，合作錄製多張合唱天碟，獲愛樂者激賞。在合唱界舉足輕重的阿姆斯壯博士，除了多次受邀擔任World Symposium of Choral Music講師外，近年客席指揮包括世界青年合唱團（The World Youth Choir）、猶他州交響合唱團、摩門教合唱團、西敏合唱學院合唱團、美國男童合唱團等知名合唱團，演出與大師班邀約難以計數。並曾於美國總統府音樂會中演出更與Bobby McFerrin、Garrison Keillor合作演出。這場團慶音樂會，我們將介紹受大師青睞的合唱作品，以及感受具有黑人血統的阿姆斯壯，如何展現黑人靈歌及福音歌曲的神髓，阿姆斯壯博士是發行全球合唱樂譜的著名出版社 Earthsongs編輯，我們更希望透過這次的合作機會，將台灣優秀的合唱作品介紹到國際。演唱曲目 God of Life F.J Haydn/ed.
