這一句話我覺得有滿大的爭議
因為翻譯過來,是指:美國戶口普查假設所有'身分不明的以色列人'為白人,
下面又說'雖然並非所有以色列人都是歐洲後裔,他們可能是衣索比亞的猶太人,
中東人或葉門人,或者以色列的阿拉伯裔或Druze後裔
(Druze有可能將自己定義為阿拉伯人,也可能不是)
這樣很奇怪耶,不是等於說明了Jews也有可能不是'白人',
只是被美國戶政認定為白人嘛?
這一點還請eslite12兄賜教,
再者,我想您大可不必在原文吵了
這就像有時候我們說'日本人瞧不起黃種人,崇拜白種人'一樣,
在語意的定義中,除非你要故意找碴,否則一般人聽到這樣的形容,
第一個反應應該是:這句話的意思是要說'日本人瞧不起其他亞洲人,而白種人'
大概只有少數人會第一時間認定:日本人也是黃種人,所以日本人矛盾
這種說法是有一點中文上的不精確,
不過我想如果連這個都要批,您的氣度大概也就是如此
況且您的定義只引述美國戶政,其他版友提供的,我想也不無道理,
沒有任何一條定律說明一定採用美國戶政的解釋吧?
