因為這篇報導「討論同婚合法化之外，別忘 LGBTQ 青少年的流浪處境－麥莉希拉創快樂嬉皮基金會」（http://npost.tw/archives/19946）認識這個基金會和 Miley Cyrus 這位女歌手（https://goo.gl/mLgCvx），很精彩的演藝人生啊～這篇報導也讓我想起朋友之前在紐約的「訪談側記：Ali Forney Center」 http://goo.gl/ae0ibb 裡面有一段讓我印象深刻的談話：「Bill說，其實Ali Forney Center的孩子中70-75%來自紐約五區（Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island）。這個事實讓他很驚訝，他曾以為（就如同我以為）紐約是自由和進步價值觀的堡壘，但在紐約還是有許多保守家庭，無論是因為宗教還是移民傳統。也因此，孩子們很多是非裔、西語家庭（上一代來自中美洲的居多），近年也增加了一些亞裔的孩子。這些移民社群在同志議題上依然趨向保守，孩子們一旦意識到自己的性傾向不同，只能選擇與家庭決裂或隱藏退縮，假裝融入異性戀社群。而更可怕的是教會開設的收容中心，表面上幫助他們，實際上洗腦孩子們『同性戀是不對的』，讓這些孩子更加自我厭惡。」 NPOst 報導中有Miley Cyrus和Joan Jett為基金會演唱的歌曲 Different https://youtu.be/rT70HTbh4a8
